Sunoo leaned against the windowsill of the art room, lazily doodling little cats and stars in his notebook. The late afternoon sun streamed through the windows, casting warm patches of light onto the wooden floors. He'd found his own little corner of peace here, a place where he could escape the noise of the school hallways and the chaotic lunch breaks filled with people bustling around. Today, however, he wasn't alone.

"Wow, you're really good at that," a voice chimed in. Sunoo looked up to see Eunjin standing there, her eyes bright with curiosity. She was a new face around here—transferred just a few weeks ago. Sunoo hadn't paid her much attention at first; he was too busy with his own world of doodles and daydreams. But Eunjin had this way of naturally slipping into people's lives, like she belonged there all along.

"Thanks," Sunoo replied, a small smile tugging at his lips. "I've been drawing these little guys for a while. You draw, too?"

Eunjin nodded and showed him her sketchbook. It was filled with vibrant drawings of animated characters, each with their own quirky expressions. "I like creating stories with them," she said. "I think it's fun to imagine their lives and personalities, you know?"

And just like that, the conversation flowed. They chatted about their favorite styles, their favorite art supplies, and even debated which colors worked best for different emotions. Time seemed to melt away, and before he knew it, Sunoo had made a new friend.

In the weeks that followed, Eunjin became a regular part of Sunoo's world. She'd pop up during lunch breaks, join him in the library during study sessions, and even started sitting with him and the other ENHYPEN members during free periods. At first, the guys were a bit wary; they weren't the most open group when it came to newcomers. But Eunjin had a way of breaking down those walls. Ni-ki, for instance, seemed to enjoy her bright, lively energy. Even Sunghoon, who rarely opened up around anyone, would crack a smile or two when she was around.

Then there was Heeseung.

Heeseung was different. Sunoo knew it better than anyone. He was introverted to the core, a deep thinker who often got lost in his own mind. Heeseung wasn't one for small talk or idle chatter. He was the kind of person who'd rather observe from the sidelines than be in the middle of it all. It took Sunoo months—months of persistence, of nudging and bugging, of pulling him into conversations and dragging him to outings—to break through those walls.

And yet, somehow, Eunjin had done it in a single afternoon.

One day, as Sunoo and Heeseung walked down the hallway after class, Sunoo reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of candy wrapped in bright green foil. "Want one?" he asked, holding it out to Heeseung with a smile. Sunoo knew Heeseung's answer before he even asked, but it had become something of a habit.

Heeseung glanced at the candy, his expression neutral as always. "Nah, I'm good. You know I don't like sweets," he replied, his voice low. He kept his eyes ahead, hands shoved deep into his pockets.

"Right, right. I keep forgetting," Sunoo laughed softly, though he didn't really forget. It was just his way of keeping the conversation going, filling in the silence that Heeseung often seemed so comfortable in. Sunoo didn't mind it, though. He'd grown to appreciate Heeseung's quiet presence.

When they arrived at the classroom, Sunoo took his seat a few rows away from Heeseung's usual spot. He was digging around in his bag for his notes when he noticed Eunjin making her way over to Heeseung's desk. She plopped down next to him, her usual smile in place.

"Hey, Heeseung," she greeted, fishing out a small packet from her bag. "I got these candies the other day. They're actually pretty good. Want one?" She held out a piece of candy, almost the same kind that Sunoo had offered earlier, wrapped in a different color.
