The school day dragged on painfully for Sunoo. After the fallout with Eunjin and the others, he felt isolated, even in the crowded hallways filled with students buzzing with laughter and chatter. He couldn't shake the heaviness in his chest; it was as if the very walls of the school were closing in on him.

Just as Sunoo contemplated skipping the rest of the day, he spotted Jay and Jungwon walking toward him. Jay had an expression of determination on his face, while Jungwon seemed to share a mix of nerves and hope. Sunoo's heart raced—was this a good idea?

"Hey, Sunoo," Jay said, stopping a few steps away. "Can we talk?"

Sunoo glanced between them, trying to gauge their sincerity. "Sure," he replied, though the tension in his voice was palpable. He followed them to a quieter corner of the school, away from the prying eyes and ears of their classmates.

"Look, we know we messed up," Jungwon began, his tone earnest. "We should have stood by you instead of just accepting everything Eunjin said without question."

Jay nodded, his expression serious. "I can't believe we let her manipulate us like that. I regret it more than I can say."

Sunoo folded his arms, holding back a rush of emotions. "You both just disappeared when I needed you. It hurt more than I can express. I thought you were my friends."

Jay took a step closer, his eyes filled with regret. "We were stupid, Sunoo. I should have trusted you over Eunjin. She was so convincing, and we fell for it. But we've seen how she truly is, and we want to make it right."

Sunoo felt the anger bubbling beneath the surface. "How do I know you won't just side with her again? This isn't the first time she's played games with people's feelings."

"I promise," Jungwon said urgently. "We'll do better. We want to be here for you, really. We'll make this up to you, starting now. No more siding with her. Just you."

Sunoo looked into their eyes, searching for sincerity. After a moment of silence, he sighed deeply. "I appreciate that, but it's going to take time to rebuild that trust."

"I understand," Jay replied, his voice softening. "We're willing to do whatever it takes."

As they spoke, Eunjin stood a few paces away, partially hidden behind a row of lockers, watching the interaction unfold. Her fists were clenched at her sides, and anger flared in her chest. The sight of the three of them together made her blood boil. How dare they reconcile with him after everything she had done for them?

She felt a wave of rage wash over her as she watched Sunoo smile at Jay and Jungwon, laughing at something one of them said. It infuriated her to see him so easily forgiving them while she had been the one who tried to help them all along.

Sunoo, sensing a shift in the atmosphere, turned slightly and caught a glimpse of Eunjin. His smile faded for just a moment before he redirected his focus back to his friends, refusing to let her presence ruin the moment.

"Let's get out of here," Jungwon suggested, nudging Jay with a smirk. "How about some ice cream? My treat."

Sunoo's face brightened at the idea. "That sounds good."

Eunjin watched them with growing frustration. "Look at them," she muttered to herself, her jealousy bubbling over. "So pathetic, thinking they can just waltz back into his life after everything."

Jay noticed Sunoo's expression shift when he glanced back at Eunjin. "Ignore her, Sunoo," he said, sensing the tension. "She doesn't matter anymore."

"I know," Sunoo replied, though doubt lingered in his voice.

Eunjin stepped further back, seething. She could feel the anger radiating off her body, and she clenched her teeth, plotting her next move. The sight of Sunoo so easily moving on without her left her feeling both betrayed and infuriated.

As Sunoo, Jay, and Jungwon walked away, Eunjin made a promise to herself. She wouldn't let them forget what she was capable of.

"I'll show you," she whispered under her breath, her eyes narrowing.

Ni-ki and Heeseung were out at a basketball tournament, completely unaware of the drama unfolding back at school. While they focused on their games, Sunoo had managed to rally everyone to his side, taking a stand against Eunjin, who had been using Ni-ki and Heeseung as backup while manipulating their friends. As the tournament continued, Ni-ki and Heeseung remained oblivious to the shifting allegiances and the growing support for Sunoo.
