Rotasu: A new year and a new future! Rotasu Awadatsu is entering the stage again!
---
[Opening Scene: Saku Academy Entrance]
The episode begins with a clear, crisp morning at Saku Academy. Students are arriving, some chatting, some rushing to their classes. The camera focuses on a blonde girl with striking brown eyes stepping out of a car. She is Rizela Aiyoku, a new exchange student from Norway. Dressed in a neat school uniform with her hair in a bun, she takes a deep breath, looking at the school entrance with a mixture of excitement and nervousness.
Rizela glances around, taking in the cherry blossoms and the bustling students. She takes a deep breath, straightens her back, and walks confidently into the academy, clutching her backpack. Despite her composed exterior, there's a hint of nervousness in her eyes.
As she navigates her way through the corridors, she catches snippets of conversations in Japanese and English, feeling a sense of both familiarity and foreignness.
Rizela: (thinking to herself) It feels good to be here, but everything is so new and different. I hope I can fit in...
She reaches the administrative office and knocks on the door. Miss Mihara opens it with a warm smile.
Miss Mihara: (cheerfully) You must be Rizela Aiyoku, our new exchange student! Welcome to Saku Academy.
Rizela: (smiling politely) Yes, that's me. Thank you for having me, Miss Mihara.
Miss Mihara: (gesturing her inside) Come in, come in. Let’s get you settled and introduce you to your new classmates.
Rizela follows Miss Mihara inside, still clutching her backpack tightly. After a brief conversation about her classes and schedule, Miss Mihara leads her to the classroom where Rotasu, Aika, Nini, Kabe, Flora, Seiko, and Miho are already seated.
Miss Mihara: (addressing the class) Good morning, everyone! We have a new exchange student joining us today. Please give a warm welcome to Rizela Aiyoku!
The class claps and smiles, curious to meet the new student. Rizela steps forward, bowing slightly.
Rizela: (politely) Hello, everyone. I'm Rizela Aiyoku. I’m half-Japanese and half-Norwegian. I’m excited to learn more about Japanese culture and be a part of Saku Academy.
Rotasu: (cheerfully) Welcome, Rizela! I'm Rotasu. If you need any help, feel free to ask us!
Nini: (enthusiastically) We should definitely show you around after class!
Rizela smiles warmly, her initial nervousness melting away in the face of such kindness.
Rizela: (gratefully) Thank you! I’d love that.
As Rizela takes her seat, the camera pans to Rotasu, who is watching her with interest.
[Cut to: Saku Academy Dance Studio]
Later that day, Rizela joins the group for dance practice. She watches as Rotasu and the others practice their choreography, quickly picking up on the movements. When it’s her turn to join, she moves gracefully, her years of skiing and snowboarding giving her a unique sense of balance and rhythm.
After a few minutes, Miss Mihara calls for a break, and Rizela sits down next to Rotasu, catching her breath.
Rotasu: (impressed) Wow, Rizela, you’re really good! I’ve never seen anyone pick up the choreography so quickly.
Rizela: (smiling modestly) Thank you, Rotasu. I’ve had a lot of practice with balance and movement from skiing and snowboarding back in Norway. It helps a lot with dancing.
Rotasu: (excited) That’s so cool! You must have some amazing stories from Norway.
Rizela nods, looking thoughtful. She hesitates for a moment, then decides to open up.
Rizela: (calmly) I do love Norway, but... I’ve always felt a little out of place there. My father never really understood my interest in Japanese culture or my dream of becoming an idol. He wanted me to focus on skiing and things he thought were more practical.
Rotasu: (sympathetic) That sounds tough. But it’s great that you’re here now, following your dreams.
Rizela: (nodding) Yes, it’s a big change, but it’s something I’ve always wanted. I just hope I’m good enough.
Rotasu is taken aback by the sudden shift in Rizela's tone, sensing a deeper concern.
Rotasu: (encouragingly) Of course, you’re good enough! You’re an amazing dancer, and you’re so passionate about being here.
Rizela looks at Rotasu seriously, her expression softening slightly.
Rizela: (gently) Rotasu, I’ve been watching you. You’re a great person and a good dancer, but if you want to be a Grade A idol, you need to push yourself more. You have to strive for perfection, not just be content with being good. Being an idol is incredibly competitive, and if you don’t do something that sets you apart, you’ll never reach the top.
Rotasu looks a bit stunned by Rizela’s bluntness, unsure of how to respond.
Rotasu: (hesitant) I... I didn’t realize you thought that. I’ve always just wanted to do my best and make people happy.
Rizela softens her tone, realizing she might have been too harsh.
Rizela: (kindly) I didn’t mean to be harsh, Rotasu. I just... I’ve seen how hard it is to stand out. I want you to succeed as much as I want to. I think you have a lot of potential, but you need to find what makes you shine the brightest.
Rotasu nods slowly, absorbing Rizela’s words. She glances around at her friends, realizing that they all have something unique that makes them stand out. It dawns on her that she needs to find her own special trait, something that makes her different.
Rotasu: (determined) You’re right, Rizela. I’ve been thinking about it lately too. I want to find what makes me unique. I want to shine in my own way.
Rizela: (smiling warmly) That’s the spirit. I’m sure you’ll figure it out, Rotasu. And when you do, you’ll be unstoppable.
The two girls share a smile, a new bond forming between them as they realize they have more in common than they initially thought.
[Cut to: Saku Academy Cafeteria]
During lunch, Rizela sits with Rotasu, Aika, Nini, Kabe, Flora, Seiko, and Miho. They’re all chatting about their favorite foods and pastimes, getting to know Rizela better.
Flora: (curiously) So, Rizela, what’s your favorite food?
Rizela: (smiling) I love creamy waffles and ladyfingers. Not real fingers, of course. (giggles)
Everyone laughs, and the tension from earlier dissipates.
Kabe: (grinning) That sounds delicious! We should all try making some together sometime.
Miho: (excitedly) Yes! I’ve never had Norwegian waffles before!
The group continues to chat and laugh, and Rizela feels a warmth in her heart as she realizes she’s already starting to find her place among them.
[Ending Scene: Saku Academy Rooftop]
As the sun begins to set, casting a golden hue over the academy, Rotasu and Rizela find themselves on the rooftop, looking out over the city.
Rotasu: (thoughtfully) Thank you, Rizela, for being honest with me. I think I needed to hear that.
Rizela: (gently) I’m glad it helped. Sometimes it’s hard to say what we really think, but I believe in being honest, even if it’s not always easy.
Rotasu nods, appreciating Rizela’s sincerity. They stand in silence for a moment, watching the sun dip below the horizon.
Rotasu: (softly) I think we’re going to be good friends, Rizela.
Rizela: (smiling) I think so too, Rotasu. And I’m looking forward to seeing how you shine.
The camera pans up to the darkening sky, stars beginning to twinkle as night falls over Saku Academy, symbolizing the endless possibilities and the bright futures ahead for all of them.
