The scene opens with Miho sitting in the Saku Academy courtyard, kicking her legs as she sits on a bench. She’s eating a sandwich while scrolling through her phone, watching idol videos of her classmates. A mix of frustration and determination flashes across her face.
Miho: (muttering to herself) Everyone’s doing so well, but I’m still just… me. (sighs) I need something new… something special to show I belong here!
As she continues to watch the videos, Rizela approaches, having her signature calm smile and her usual turquoise-colored uniform. She sits next to Miho, holding a small notebook filled with handwritten lyrics.
Rizela: (smiling) You seem deep in thought, Miho. What’s going on?
Miho: (sighing dramatically) Oh, nothing, just… trying to figure out how to get better. It’s not like I can make my voice magically amazing or grow taller in a day!
Rizela: (giggles) You’re still worrying about that? You know, talent doesn’t always come from big changes. It can come from the small things too.
Miho: (side-eyeing Rizela) Easy for you to say! You’re, like, perfect at everything! And you’re older than me!
Rizela: (tilting her head) Perfect? That’s far from true. There’s still so much I need to improve. But maybe we can help each other? What if we worked together?
Miho blinks, her eyes widening at the idea. She hadn’t considered the possibility of teaming up with someone before.
Miho: (skeptical) Wait, you mean… like a unit? Us?
Rizela: (nodding with a warm smile) Yes, I think we could make a great pair. Our styles are different, but that might be what makes it special.
Miho: (biting her lip) Huh… a unit. But… why would you want to team up with me? I’m still in Grade B, and you’re… well, you’re Grade A.
Rizela: (looking thoughtful) Because I see potential in you. And maybe, you’ll help me grow in ways I wouldn’t expect. Sometimes, the unexpected combinations are the best ones.
Miho stares at Rizela for a moment, processing her words. Despite her initial doubts, something about Rizela’s confidence makes Miho feel encouraged.
Miho: (grinning) Okay, let’s do it! But… what should we call ourselves?
Rizela: (laughing softly) We can figure that out later. Let’s first see how well we work together.
The next scene cuts to the school’s practice room. Rizela and Miho are standing in front of the mirrors, trying out different routines. The music plays in the background, and the two girls attempt to synchronize their moves, but it’s clear that they’re struggling.
Miho: (panting) Ugh… I didn’t realize it would be this hard! I’m not used to keeping up with someone taller than me. Your legs are so long!
Rizela: (calmly) It’s okay, Miho. We just need to find a rhythm that works for both of us. Let’s try that last move again, but this time, we’ll slow it down and get it perfect first.
They start again, repeating the dance sequence. This time, Miho focuses more on matching Rizela’s movements rather than trying to outdo her. After several tries, they finally hit the moves in sync.
Miho: (excited) We did it! We’re totally getting better!
Rizela: (smiling) See? It’s all about patience. You’re doing great, Miho.
As they continue practicing, their conversation drifts to their plans for their first performance as a unit.
Miho: (excited) We should totally go with a poppy, cute vibe! Super high energy, tons of colors!
Rizela: (nodding) That sounds like fun, but maybe we can combine it with something a bit more elegant? We don’t want it to be too overwhelming for the audience. A good balance is important.
Miho: (pausing) Hmm, yeah, I guess you’re right. But we still gotta stand out! We should create new brands for the two of us!
Rizela: (raising an eyebrow) "Popping Charm," "Peaceful Divas"? I'm suggesting those names. But are you sure we’re ready to wear something that flashy for our first performance?
Miho: (grinning) Definitely! We have to go big, Rizela! If we’re gonna do this, let’s make it unforgettable!
Rizela hesitates for a moment, but then nods in agreement.
Rizela: Alright, Miho. Let’s make it a performance no one will forget.
Later that day, Miho and Rizela sit together in the courtyard, discussing their new unit and how they plan to debut. However, there’s an underlying tension between the two. Rizela, being more mature and thoughtful, tends to take the lead, while Miho’s enthusiasm sometimes overshadows practical decisions.
Rizela: (carefully) Miho, I’ve been thinking… about the unit. I really want us to succeed, but we need to make sure we’re taking things seriously. If we rush into it, we might not be ready for the stage.
Miho: (defensive) What are you saying? You don’t think I’m serious? I’ve been working hard just like you! We’ve already come up with great ideas!
Rizela: (softly) I’m not saying you’re not serious… I just don’t want us to fail because we’re not prepared enough.
Miho: (getting frustrated) You’re always acting like you know everything just because you’re older and a Grade A idol. I’m not a kid, Rizela! I can do this just as well as you!
Rizela blinks, taken aback by Miho’s sudden outburst. The tension between them becomes more apparent.
Rizela: (calmly) I never said you couldn’t. But working together means understanding each other’s strengths and weaknesses. I just want us to be the best we can be.
Miho: (pouting) You don’t trust me. You don’t think I’m good enough to be your partner.
Rizela: (softly) That’s not true. I believe in you. I just think we need to communicate better if we’re going to make this work.
Miho looks away, feeling a mix of frustration and insecurity. After a few moments of silence, she takes a deep breath.
Miho: (grumbling) Fine… maybe I overreacted. I just… I want this to be special. I don’t want to mess it up.
Rizela: (smiling gently) And it will be special. But we have to take it one step at a time. Let’s trust each other and work together, okay?
Miho: (nodding) Okay… I’ll try to be more patient.
The episode ends with Miho and Rizela practicing late into the night, slowly finding their rhythm together. As they perform their routine in front of the mirror, the camera zooms out, showing the two of them dancing in perfect harmony for the first time.
Rizela and Miho (in unison): “We’re gonna shine—together!”
The screen fades to black, with the promise of their first performance as a unit on the horizon.
