Rotasu: A new year and a new future! Rotasu Awadatsu is entering the stage again!

[Opening Scene: Saku Academy - Main Courtyard]
The episode opens on a bright, sunny day at Saku Academy. The courtyard is bustling with activity as students prepare for the upcoming Idol Quiz Show, a trivia competition designed to test the knowledge of aspiring idols about the industry, famous idols, and idol culture. Large banners hang overhead, and a makeshift stage is set up in the center of the courtyard. Students chatter excitedly about the event, some anxiously flipping through notes and study guides.
Miho Akamiga, the youngest student in the academy, sits on a bench with Rotasu, Nini, and Flora. She swings her legs back and forth, her face a mix of excitement and nervousness.
Miho: (enthusiastically) I can’t wait for the Idol Quiz Show! I’ve been studying so hard. I know I can win!
Nini: (smiling) You’ve got this, Miho! You’ve been practicing a lot. I’m sure you’ll do great!
Rotasu: (cheerfully) Yeah! And even if you don’t know every answer, it’s all about having fun and learning more about being an idol.
As the group continues to chat, a group of students walks by, led by Sayo Shishikura. Sayo is a confident pop-type idol with brown hair and fingerless gloves. She has a smirk on her face as she approaches Miho and her friends.
Sayo: (mockingly) Well, well, well, if it isn’t the academy’s little mascot. Are you really going to compete in the Idol Quiz Show, Miho?
Miho looks up, taken aback by Sayo’s tone but still trying to smile politely.
Miho: (enthusiastically) Yes, I am! I’ve been studying really hard, and I think it’ll be fun.
Sayo: (sarcastically) Studying? How cute. But let’s be real here, kids shouldn’t even be allowed in the competition. This is serious idol stuff, not some kiddie game.
Miho’s smile falters a little, but she stands her ground.
Miho: (defensively) I’m not just a kid! I’m an idol too, just like you!
Sayo: (laughs) Oh, really? You think you can compete with someone like me? I’m the best pop idol in the world. You should just stick to playing with dolls, Miho. Leave the real idol work to the grown-ups.
Rotasu steps forward, frowning at Sayo.
Rotasu: (firmly) That’s not fair, Sayo! Miho has every right to be here. She’s worked just as hard as any of us to be at this academy.
Sayo: (rolling her eyes) Whatever, Rotasu. I’m just saying it like it is. If Miho wants to embarrass herself in front of everyone, that’s her choice. Don’t say I didn’t warn her.
With that, Sayo flips her hair and walks away, leaving Miho looking down at her feet, her confidence shaken. The girls watch Sayo leave, anger and frustration written on their faces.
Flora: (softly) Don’t listen to her, Miho. She’s just trying to get in your head.
Nini: (reassuringly) Yeah, you’re amazing, Miho. And you’re going to show everyone just how much you know!
Miho nods, trying to muster a smile, but it’s clear that Sayo’s words have hurt her. Rotasu puts a comforting arm around her.
Rotasu: (encouragingly) Let’s go over some of your notes together. We’re here to help you, no matter what.
Miho nods again, her determination slowly returning with her friends' support.
[Cut to: Saku Academy - Quiz Show Stage]
The courtyard has been transformed for the Idol Quiz Show. Students fill the audience seats, excitedly chatting as they wait for the event to start. On stage, a large screen displays the quiz logo, and a podium with buzzers is set up for the contestants. The host, Miss Mihara, stands in the center, holding a microphone and smiling warmly.
Miss Mihara: (cheerfully) Welcome, everyone, to the Saku Academy Idol Quiz Show! Today, our talented students will be testing their knowledge about all things idol-related. It’s sure to be a fun and exciting event!
The audience cheers and applauds as the contestants make their way to the stage. Miho takes a deep breath and steps up to her podium, standing between Rotasu and Sayo, who gives her a smug look. Miho glances at her friends, who smile encouragingly, and takes another deep breath, steeling herself for the competition.
Miss Mihara: (continuing) Alright, contestants, are you ready? Let’s begin with the first round!
The screen lights up with the first question: “What is the name of the first single released by the idol group Star Harmony?”
Miho quickly buzzes in, her hand shaking slightly.
Miho: (confidently) “Shining Star!”
Miss Mihara: (smiling) Correct! That’s one point for Miho!
The audience cheers, and Miho’s face brightens with pride. Sayo rolls her eyes but stays focused.
The quiz continues, with Miho answering several questions correctly. She stumbles on a few, but her friends’ support keeps her going. Meanwhile, Sayo is also racking up points, her competitive nature shining through.
As the final round approaches, the scores are neck and neck between Miho and Sayo. The tension in the air is palpable as Miss Mihara announces the final question.
Miss Mihara: (dramatically) And now, for the final question: “What is the signature move of pop idol Shiori Fuyu from Milky Chance?”
Miho’s eyes widen in recognition. She knows this one! But before she can hit her buzzer, Sayo slams hers first.
Sayo: (smirking) “Heartful Twirl!”
Miss Mihara: (clapping) Correct! Sayo wins the Idol Quiz Show!
The audience erupts into applause as Sayo smugly takes a bow. Miho, while disappointed, still manages to clap for Sayo, showing good sportsmanship. Rotasu, Nini, and Flora rush up to her, giving her a group hug.
Rotasu: (cheerfully) You did amazing, Miho! You answered so many questions right!
Nini: (encouragingly) And you didn’t let Sayo get to you. We’re so proud of you!
Miho smiles, feeling a little better with her friends by her side. Just then, Sayo approaches, a trophy in hand and a smug expression on her face.
Sayo: (mockingly) Well, looks like I was right, Miho. Better luck next time, kiddo.
Miho looks up at Sayo, determination in her eyes.
Miho: (firmly) You may have won today, Sayo, but I’m not going to give up. I’ll keep studying and getting better. Just you wait!
Sayo blinks in surprise at Miho’s boldness, then shrugs nonchalantly.
Sayo: (smirking) We’ll see about that. But don’t say I didn’t warn you.
With a flip of her hair, Sayo walks away, leaving Miho and her friends standing together. The group watches her leave, then turns back to Miho, who now looks more determined than ever.
Flora: (smiling) That’s the spirit, Miho. We’re always here for you.
Miho: (nodding) Thanks, everyone. I’ll keep working hard and prove that I belong here, no matter what anyone says.
The friends share another group hug, their bond stronger than ever. As the sun sets behind them, the scene fades out.
