Opening Scene: Rehearsal Room at Saku Academy

The episode begins in the large, sunlit rehearsal room of Saku Academy. The walls are lined with mirrors, reflecting the focused expressions of students practicing their dance routines. Rotasu, Aika, Sayo, and Miho are among the students, rehearsing a complex choreography for an upcoming school performance. Atsushi Fuku, their instructor, was training them.

Atsushi: (clapping hands rhythmically) Alright, everyone. Focus on your movements. Remember, timing and synchronization are key.

The girls move energetically, following the instructor’s cues, but Miho struggles to keep up with the more advanced choreography. She fumbles a few steps and accidentally bumps into Sayo, who stumbles forward, almost losing her balance.

Sayo: (frustrated, turning to Miho) Watch where you’re going, Miho! You’re throwing everyone off!

Miho: (sheepishly) I’m sorry, Sayo. I’m trying my best, but this dance is really hard…

Atsushi: (calmly) It’s okay, Miho. Just take a moment and try again. Remember, practice makes perfect.

Miho nods, looking determined but worried. As the music starts again, she tries to follow along, but it’s clear she’s struggling with the pace and complexity of the routine.

Cut to: Later, in the School Courtyard

After the rehearsal, the girls gather in the courtyard for a break. Aika, noticing Miho’s downcast expression, sits down beside her on a bench.

Aika: (gently) Hey, Miho. Don’t feel bad about today. That was a tough routine, even for us.

Miho: (sighing) I know, but I just feel like I’m holding everyone back. I’m not as good as the rest of you.

Rotasu: (joining them) Hey, that’s not true! We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Besides, you’re an amazing singer and have a great stage presence. Dancing just takes a bit more practice.

Miho looks at them, her eyes reflecting her uncertainty.

Miho: (softly) Thanks, Rotasu, Aika. But I want to get better. I want to be able to dance like you all do.

Rotasu: (smiling) And you will! How about we help you out? We can practice together after school. What do you say?

Miho’s face brightens at the offer, a small smile forming on her lips.

Miho: (nods) I’d really like that. Thank you!

Cut to: After-School Practice Session

In the late afternoon, the rehearsal room is quieter, with only Rotasu, Aika, and Miho present. They’ve stayed behind to practice, determined to help Miho improve.

Aika: (enthusiastically) Alright, let’s start with the basics! We’ll go through the steps slowly, one by one!

They begin to practice, with Rotasu and Aika breaking down the dance moves into smaller, manageable parts. Miho follows along, her movements tentative but gradually becoming more confident.

Rotasu: (encouragingly) That’s it, Miho! You’re getting it. Just keep your movements sharp and remember the rhythm.

As they practice, Miho starts to feel more comfortable with the steps. She’s still not perfect, but she’s improving, and the confidence is evident in her movements.

Miho: (grinning) I think I’m starting to get the hang of this!

Aika: (cheering) That’s the spirit, Miho! Let’s keep going!

Cut to: Final Rehearsal Before the Performance

It’s the day before the big performance, and everyone is back in the rehearsal room for a final run-through. Miho is visibly nervous but determined as she takes her place in the lineup.

Atsushi: (clapping) Alright, everyone. This is the final rehearsal before tomorrow’s performance. Let’s make it count.

The music starts, and the group begins to dance. Miho focuses intensely, remembering the practice sessions with Rotasu and Aika. Her movements are more assured, and she manages to keep up with the pace, hitting most of the steps.

However, towards the end of the routine, she makes a small mistake, her foot slipping slightly out of place. The mistake throws her off balance, and she stumbles, falling to the floor.

Atsushi: (concerned) Miho, are you okay?

Miho: (quickly getting up, embarrassed) I’m fine, I’m fine… I just lost my footing for a second.

The room is quiet, and Miho can feel the eyes of her peers on her. She looks down, fighting back tears of frustration and disappointment.

Sayo: (sighing, crossing her arms) This is why kids shouldn’t be in these performances. It’s too much for them.

Rotasu steps forward, glaring at Sayo.

Rotasu: (firmly) That’s enough, Sayo. Miho is doing her best, and that’s what matters. Everyone makes mistakes, even you.

Aika nods in agreement, stepping beside Rotasu.

Aika: (supportively) Yeah, and besides, we’ve all had our slip-ups. Miho has been working so hard, and she’s improved a lot.

Atsushi: (nodding) That’s right. Mistakes happen, but it’s how we learn from them that counts. Miho, don’t let this get you down. You’ve made a lot of progress.

Miho looks up, seeing the support from her friends and the instructor. She takes a deep breath, nodding.

Miho: (determinedly) Thank you, everyone. I won’t give up. I’m going to keep practicing and do my best tomorrow.

Cut to: The Day of the Performance

The school auditorium is buzzing with excitement as students, teachers, and parents fill the seats. Backstage, Miho is practicing her steps one last time, a focused expression on her face.

Rotasu: (coming up to her) Hey, Miho. How are you feeling?

Miho: (smiling nervously) A little scared, but also excited. I just want to do my best.

Aika: (patting her shoulder) You will, Miho. Just remember what we practiced and have fun out there.

The music starts, signaling the beginning of their performance. Miho takes a deep breath and joins her friends on stage. As they begin the routine, Miho focuses on the rhythm, her movements much more precise and confident than before.

She completes the routine almost perfectly, only making a small mistake towards the end, but she quickly recovers, finishing strong with the rest of the group.

The audience erupts into applause, and Miho beams with pride, knowing she gave it her all.

Cut to: After the Performance

Backstage, Miho is surrounded by her friends, who are congratulating her.

Rotasu: (grinning) You did it, Miho! You were amazing!

Aika: (hugging her) See? All that practice paid off!

Miho: (smiling brightly) Thank you, Rotasu, Aika. I couldn’t have done it without you.

Sayo: (approaching them, sighing) I guess I was a bit too harsh earlier. You did well, Miho.

Miho looks surprised but smiles.

Miho: (politely) Thanks, Sayo. That means a lot.

Atsushi: (clapping his hands) Great job, everyone! I’m proud of all of you. Now, let’s go celebrate!

As the group heads out to join the rest of the school in celebration, Miho feels a sense of accomplishment and joy. She knows she still has a lot to learn, but with her friends by her side, she’s ready for anything.
