My back was against a tree, facing away from where Klaus lay, naked, while Elijah stood next to me, facing his brother. Klaus started to stir, looking around at where he was with a smile on his face as Elijah threw a pair of clothes at him. "You've been busy."

"That was amazing," Klaus commented. "How long has it been?"

"Almost two days," I said, narrowing my eyes at the woods around us.

"Full moon came and went. You remained a wolf," Elijah added.

"I can change at will, then. It's good to know. I remember every single kill."

"Yes, we've been cleaning up your little mess along the way," I glared, finally able to turn around.

"Just like old times, brother." Rolling my eyes, I got a good look at Klaus. His hair was a sandy brown, his eyes blue. He was dirty now, but with a shower, he would look better. Overall, he was attractive; I couldn't deny that.

"Well, you've had your fun. I believe we have a bargain." Elijah handed Klaus a pair of boots, walking around him.

"That's right. Now, what was it again? Oh yeah. I remember, that's it. You wish to be reunited with our family."

"You gave me your word, Niklaus," Elijah reminded, dusting off the jacket he had thrown at Klaus.

"What kind of brother would break his bond? Even though you did try to kill me."

"He spared your life, though," I pointed out, arms crossed over my chest as he pulled his shirt on.

"I could have killed you, but I didn't."

"Now no one can, not even you. Relax, Elijah. All is forgiven."

"Where are they?"

"You need to lighten up. I'll bring you to them soon enough." Klaus walked away, brushing past my shoulder and I glared at him before turning towards Elijah, who had started to follow.

"I told you this was a bad idea. You should have killed him when you had the chance." We made it back to Elijah's car and he got in the driver's seat. I went to get in the passenger side, but found that Klaus was already there. Glaring at him, I got in the back, sitting in the middle seat.

"So, Elijah. You have yet to introduce me to your friend back there," Klaus said, jerking his head back towards me.

"This is Elizabeth."

"Ellie," I corrected.

"Sorry. Ellie."

"Only my mother calls me Elizabeth. And now she's burning in hell. So unless you want to do the same, I suggest you don't call me by my full name." He chuckled before turning back around and looking out his window.

"So, you're obviously not human. Vampire?"

"Yes. I'm surprised you haven't heard of me," I scoffed. "I'm older than you are."

"What? That's not possible."

"Yet it is. I was turned before you and your family."

"How?"

Sighing, I leaned back in my seat, closing my eyes, "That's a long story for another time."

Only one more chapter left! I really hope some of you stick around for the next book! You won't wanna miss it! I'm gonna try to get the next book posted before the 2015 Watty's end in August.
