Hi! Sorry for the wait. Life got a little busy. :( But I'm back! I was originally going to write a non fluff chapter, but then realised I kinda suck at those, soooo I'm restarting with this one. Hope I did our Minnie justice!

Trigger warnings: Slight panic attack, slight anxiety and insecurity slam. (Do nightmares count?)

Minnie couldn't sleep. She had been counting sheep since ten, and it was one in the morning now. She had lost count of the sheep, and was definitely hallucinating, because one of the sheep pitched headfirst into her white trash can. Groaning in frustration, Minnie rolled over, and after nearly half an hour of her squirming, she finally fell into an uneasy sleep.

A shadowy figure was approaching her. Minnie shrunk back in fear, but relaxed when she saw it was Soojin. "Oh, you scared me. I thought-" "Ugh, look at you. Pathetic. Remind me why you're even in our group?" Another figure appeared. Soyeon. "Why did I even pick you? Stupid, worthless girl." Yuqi. "Stop with your act, unnie. Nobody thinks you're cute. Just cringe." Shuhua. "Gosh, you're the ugliest and most worthless person ever. Just seeing your face makes me wanna puke." Minnie could hardly breathe, her chest tightening. Finally, the last figure neared. Miyeon unnie. "Honestly, you're just pitiful. Following me around, trying to make me like you, you should just stop trying so hard, Minnie, you know none of us actually likes you. An anguished cry escaped Minnie's lips. She was falling, falling into the void of her fears, her insecurities, the void she couldn't escape, no matter how hard she tried. She went limp, letting the darkness consume her.

Minnie woke with a sharp gasp and looked around wildly. She was sitting on the floor, her sweaty sheets tangled around her pajama-clad legs, having fallen off her bed. Yuqi's giraffe nightlight shone a warm, orangey light, illuminating the room slightly. Heart thumping in her chest, Minnie clambered back onto bed, trembling. The nightmare felt too real. Too real. She needed warmth and comfort. But looking at Yuqi's peaceful sleeping face, Minnie didn't want to disrupt her dongsaeng's much-needed sleep. Dragging her pale pink pillow with her, she decided to venture out of the security of her room.

The corridors of their dorms were dark, and Minnie could hear the soft coo of a pigeon outside the building. She wasn't one to be afraid of the dark, but her nightmare felt way too real. Stopping outside the 98' liners' room, Minnie contemplated going in, but a nagging thought in the back of her head said Don't lie to yourself. It's Miyeon you want to cuddle with, not Soyeon nor Soojin. Sighing, Minnie trudged to the end of the corridor, where Miyeon and Shuhua shared a room.

The hinges creaked as Minnie carefully opened the door, making her wince. Shuhua grunted slightly and rolled over in her sleep, but Miyeon didn't even stir. Creeping into the room and dragging her pillow with her, Minnie tiptoed to Miyeon's bed and stood there, considering her options. She could wake Miyeon up, but given that the oldest was a heavy sleeper, the chances of that was pretty low. She could also just climb into bed with Miyeon, and just not wake her up. But Minnie was still shivering from her nightmare, and really wanted some hugs and reassurance right now. Or, she could just turn back and go back to her own room, but Minnie was frightened, and needed cuddles, so she didn't exactly want to turn back. Yet, the nagging voice sounded again. Miyeon unnie must be really tired. Everyone was practicing from noon, all the way 'till nine thirty. Maybe they were right in your dreams, you're selfish, worthless....

"Minnie? What's wrong?" Minnie jumped, jerked from her reverie by the sleepy voice of none other than Miyeon herself. Minnie winced, internally scolding herself. Stupid, stupid, stupid. You woke her up. And now she's gonna hate you, and you're going to lose your only family and.....

"Minnie? Are you okay? You're breathing kind of fast. Did you have a nightmare?" Minnie nodded shamefully, twisting her fingers. She desperately wanted a hug, but felt too guilty to ask for one. Miyeon knew her too well, however, and wordlessly enveloped the shaking girl in a tight hug. They stayed like that for a while, before Miyeon patted her bed with a soft smile. "Do you wanna sleep with me tonight?" Another nod, and Miyeon pulled the girl into bed and fluffed up her pink pillow, tucking her in. The two stayed like that for a while, Miyeon spooning Minnie from behind and rubbing her chest comfortingly, and though Minnie's shivering had stopped, she kept her eyes wide open, terrified of sleeping in case she heard the voices again. Miyeon noticed how restless the girl was, and stood up to fetch something from her cupboard, earning a whine from the younger, who felt the absence of Miyeon's warm body beside her.

"Just a moment, Min. I think I have something to help you sleep." Miyeon shuffled around a bit more before heading back to bed, clutching a limp object. On closer inspection, it seemed to be a stuffed bunny. A soft, pink one. Minnie reached for the bunny, and pulled it closer to her, enjoying the feeling of soft, fuzzy fur against her cheek. In the dark, Miyeon smiled, "I know you don't have any dolls of your own, so you can keep him if you want to."

"Thanks." Minnie murmured, already halfway to dreamland. Miyeon chuckled, wrapping her legs around the other girl's so that their legs were intertwining. Minnie was the cutest unnie ever.

Hey! Sorry it was so short. Life has been busy, so I hope I'm forgiven :) I'm not as familiar with Minnie, so sorry if she was OOC or anything. Hope you enjoyed! Bye! <3
