Hi guys, sorry for the wait. This one's pretty short, since I've been busy.

TW: Just being sick in general, I guess. (Mentions of nausea), passing out

Rubbing her sticky eyes, Miyeon cursed at the bad timing of it all. Seriously, halfway through the promotions and she gets sick? Wincing at the dull, aching throb of her inflamed throat, she lumbered out of bed, kicking away the covers that were sticky with sweat. She had just woken up with a pounding head, aching throat and an extremely stuffed up nose.

"Unnie! Hurry up and change! We gotta go to inkigayo!" The shrill yell of none other than the group's loudest, Shuhua, pierced her eardrums. Wincing at the renewed throb in her temple, Miyeon hastened to get changed. Today was gonna be a long, long day.

Miyeon thought she could pull through being mc, as well and performing and doing an interview. It wasn't that much, right? After inkigayo, Miyeon just flopped down onto the leather seat, feeling the clammy, uncomfortable feeling rise up her throat at the taxi-ish smell. She wasn't part of the carsick line, (Yuqi, Shuhua, and Soyeon) but she felt close to bringing up her small breakfast of half a cut apple. As the ride continued, she couldn't hide her pure discomfort anymore, and let out a pained groan, squeezing her eyes tightly shut as a wave of pain overwhelmed her. She wasn't even sure which part of her exactly was in pain, because it felt like everything was aching.

"Unnie? Are you okay? Unnie? Soojin unnie, I think something's wrong with Miyeon unnie" Soyeon. Miyeon could hear the leader's worried voice faintly, and soon a few others joined, but Miyeon couldn't distinguish the specific member anymore. Her eyes closed and her vision went black.

"Don't wriggle, we're getting you home." Ah. Home. There was light, but it was too bright. It hurt her eyes. She also faintly feel warm fabric around her, wrapped snugly around her. It felt nice, and she snuggled into the fluffy material further. A soft object was pressed into her arms and she reached blindly for it, pressing it close to her. It was then when she realised how parched her lips and throat was. Cool liquid was dripped onto her lips. Was it a straw? Miyeon sucked on the end of it experimentally, and a rush of fresh, cool liquid filled her mouth and soothed her burning throat. Letting out a satisfied sound, Miyeon snuggled back into the fluffy material and sunk into a much better slumber.

When Miyeon opened her eyes for the second time, a groan slipped from her lips as the pounding in her head intensified. A cool hand rested itself gently on her forehead, and she let out a soft sigh in comfort, leaning blindly towards the cool source of relief from the burning heat of her forehead, and pretty much everywhere, in general. Squinting from the bright light, Miyeon looked up to see Minnie's hazy face swimming above hers, her eyebrows scrunched cutely due to her worry. Miyeon tried to sit up, but the world spun and one of Minnie's large hands pushed her back down, murmuring a gentle "No." Miyeon grimaced, she felt light-headed and suddenly extremely nauseous. Maybe sitting up wasn't a great idea after all. Minnie removed her hand to some whining on Miyeon's part, which was quickly shushed by Minnie's sweet words of reassurance while measuring out a cup of pink, slimy looking syrup. Miyeon scrunched her nose up. Ew. She was not drinking that stuff. Seeing Miyeon's reluctance, Minnie bent down and cooed.

"C'mon, bunny. Just half a little medicine cup of fever reducer. And I promise to give you water and cuddles afterwards." At the promise of cuddles from her favourite member, Miyeon perked up and allowed Minnie to tilt the disgusting, cherry-flavoured goo into her mouth, which was followed by a mug of warm water. Wincing at the gross aftertaste, Miyeon made grabby hands at Minnie, hoping her puppy eyes would remind the Thai about her earlier promise. Thankfully, Minnie slid into bed with a small grin, wrapping her in a hug. Miyeon melted into the touch, loving the skinship especially when she was sick. They lay in silence for a few moments, until Minnie broke the silence.

"Bunny? Can you tell me when you started feeling sick?" Miyeon squirmed slightly, feeling a little nervous under Minnie's questioning stare. "Uh, I kinda felt off this morning, I guess."

"Then why didn't you say anything, bunny? We're your teammates, you can tell us anything, you know that, right? Or are you developing Soyeon's "Suffer in silence and just power through everything" mentality?" Miyeon shrunk into the mass of pillows on the bed, feeling rather small.

"Um...I thought, b-because I'm the eldest, I shouldn't, like be the o-one taken care of, 'cause I should t-take care of everyone e-else..." Miyeon's voice trailed off. Minnie stared at her for a moment, an unidentifiable expression on her face, then murmured "Is that really what you think about yourself?" "Kinda.....?"

"Cho Miyeon!" Minnie said sharply, causing the startled bunny to jump. "Do not say that about yourself! You know that though you're the eldest, when you need help, it's our job to take care of you as well! You should know better!" Miyeon hung her head sadly, and Minnie's gaze softened and she sighed. "Honestly, Miyeon, if you are sick, hurt, upset or need any help, call us, okay? 'Cause that's what family is for."

Family. Miyeon felt warmth spread to her fingertips. (And no, it wasn't because of her fever) She had a family to lean on now.

Done! Sorry it was so short, I'm really busy lately but I'm trying. Until next time, bye! <3
