(G)I-DLE Oneshots

(G)I-DLE Hogwarts; First meeting part 1

Hi guys, so I know I said I didn't like AUs, but like, it's Hogwarts. 'Cmon. So you can skip it if you don't like it, but since I haven't seen many completed and well written (G)I-DLE Hogwarts AUs, this will be an attempt at writing one! Again, might be longer than expected, and the parts won't be in like, order according to their years and ages, especially since I'm planning on writing a Triwizard Tournament one soon, so they'll need to be older, but oh well. All right, I'll stop yapping. Enjoy the fic!

Diagon alley. The brick from the trash can, three up and two across. Tap it. Yuqi nervously chanted under her breath. She felt somewhat giddy still, due to the fact that her letter from Hogwarts telling her that she was a witch arrived two weeks ago, and she and her mother could barely believe it. And yes, no father. Her father was killed three years ago, mysteriously. No one, till this day has figure out how he passed, and Yuqi still mourns him, but she couldn't help but feel excited, since this letter opened the gateway to a whole new world for her, but she felt pretty nervous, considering neither of her parents were witches or wizards. 

As the dusty archway reordered itself, allowing her to enter the bustling street of Diagon Alley, Yuqi's eyes widened. It was nothing like what she had imagined and fantasised in her room, waiting till now to finally take her first step in the wizarding world. It was so much better. The chatter of students, new and old, picking up their school supplies, the gossiping of witches and wizards, adult ones, and every  type of magical creature imaginable. Breathing in the sweet smell of what smelt like candy apples, Yuqi skipped into the busy street, clutching her slightly crumpled list. But due to her excitement, she accidentally knocked into two dark-haired girls, who looked around first year too. The first one had doe eyes and soft features, and the second had sharper features and dark, shiny eyes. Yuqi flushed. She wasn't one to be shy, but still, whacking into someone headfirst isn't a good first impression. Still, she mustered up her courage and apologised sheepishly.

"Uh, sorry about that. I wasn't looking. And um......if you don't mind, can you tell me your names? I'll tell you mine!" Smooth, Song Yuqi. Real smooth. But neither girl seemed to mind, the girl with dark eyes stuck out her hand. "I'm Kim Minnie." The other girl with doe eyes did the same thing, though she was shyer. "I'm Cho Miyeon." Yuqi grinned. "I'm Song Yuqi. Do you guys uhhh...wanna be friends?" She offered tentively. Minnie beamed. "Why not?" And Yuqi's brief ten minutes of loneliness vanished like a breeze. She had friends now. She was safe.

Oof sorry for the long wait, but I hope this short little AU was okay. I'm going to be writing more AUs, since I recently kinda got into them. But don't worry, I'll still write tons of fluffy (G)I-DLE as a K-pop group. Love you all, see you soon, bye! <3
