a loud, wobbly whirring sound was heard from above as Clarice stood within a grassy clearing, a smug grin grew over her face as she looked up into the sky and saw the flying vehicle that will take her away from this dumb, rusty old city she had been hiding in.
a large helicopter, more specifically one that was owned by the person who had sent her here.
unfortunately for her, the helicopter was going down slower then she wished it would, and as such she was beginning to become a little bit impatient.
"ugh, come on guys, I don't have time for this! go down faster, I wanna get outta this city ASAP!" Clarice said loudly as she backed away from where the large helicopter was beginning to land.
it took a minute, but eventually, the helicopter finally landed as it's blades slowed down.
as Clarice stood there, she noticed someone poke their head out from within the helicopter.
"heya Clarice! are yah ready to go?!"
"ugh..of course I am, nick"
Clarice wandered into the helicopter as it closed up and was ready to fly again.
she wished she would be able to have a nice, comfy ride back..but unfortunately, she was sitting next to nick, someone who she considered as annoying.
"..sooo, Clarice, how was it like being in..yaknow, society agai-"
"horrible, absolutely wretched infact"
there was complete silence for a minute.
"..oh, uh..yikes, then?" nick mumbled.
"a simple "yikes" can't describe how much I hated staying in that city, it felt like I was stuck in a peasant town full of nothing but simple, mindless sheep..and the worst part was that I myself had to pretend I was a mindless sheep too, just like everyone else there..their dull faces make me sick, they don't know anything" Clarice said.
"..I see, well on the bright side..atleast you have managed to lead someone to search in the woods! I bet our boss will go and give ya a lotta cash for what you did!" nick said cheerfully.
"..yeah, that's good I guess.." Clarice said.
"now stop talking nick, I want some peace and quiet for now" clarice quickly snapped at nick before he could say anything else to her.
Clarice stared out a window, smiling.
one thought graced her mind.
"..everyone at the skyscraper is gonna be so proud of me for what I've done"
meanwhile..
Taylor was laying down on her bed with her phone above her face, usually she would be smiling a bit to herself as she watched funny videos online, but her face showed nothing but fear as she spoke with a few members of her friend group in a large group chat.
she was talking to them and telling them about Melissa's sudden disappearence.
tayvay17: guys, this is serious, Melissa has completely vanished!! she left a note on her door saying she went into the woods, everyone knows nobody is allowed to go in da forest here!!
