Khirad sat by the window, staring at the grey sky that mirrored emptiness in her heart.

The rain tapped at the window just like her eyes shedding tears.

The calmness of the weather can't describe the storm resonating inside her.

She hadn't spoken to Arsam in months.

Their once unbreakable bond had turned into a fragile, brittle thread, ready to snap at the slightest tug.

Ever since Moiz's death, a thick wall of grief and testimony had grown between them, making the distance hopeless.

For Khirad, memories of Moiz is the only thing she had with her.

Everyday she struggles to live.

The growing distance was also a part of the stress she had.

But she was so invested in herself that she avoided to justify Arsam in her heart.

She still thinks that he is the only person behind her biggest loss.

Arsam, On the other hand, was drowning in his own sea of sorrow.

He wanted to console Khirad, wanted to hold her in his embrace and kept chanting that he is with her.

She doesn't have to bear everything by herself but the accusation she pitted on him hung heavy in the air between them.

He was completely broken but didn't have anyone to heal him.

To listen him out and console him for his loss.

He also lost an important person in his life.

Moiz was no less than his brother and cousins.

He was important to him like a house needs a pillar for stability.

Jab makaan ka sutuun hi dhal jaye toh phir chahe jitni hi unchi manzil kyun na ho gir jaya karti hai...

Their life changes so much in these 1 month.

The unspoken words and the silent struggles they were fighting together shook them to the core.

They are a newly married couple but their life does not seem like any other newly married one.

Arsam tries to keep himself busy with his work.

He mostly comes late at night.

Khirad sometimes sleeps on the couch or on the bed in an uncomfortable position, maybe waiting for him.

She never questioned him about his whereabouts.

She was so invested in herself to cope with him.

It's one of their usual days.

It's already past 8 P.M.

Khirad was studying for a case, and suddenly her mind got distracted with the uneasiness in the case.
