My love must be a kind of blind love

I can't see anyone but you

(Sha bop sha bop)

(Sha bop sha bop)

(Sha bop sha bop)

(Sha bop sha bop)

(Sha bop sha bop)

Are the stars out tonight (sha bop sha bop)

I don't know if it's cloudy or bright (sha bop sha bop)

I only have eyes for you dear

(Sha bop sha bop)

The moon may be high

(Sha bop sha bop)

But I can't see (sha bop sha bop) a thing in the sky

I only have eyes for you

I don't know if we're in a garden

Or on a crowded avenue

(Sha bop sha bop)

You are here

(Sha bop sha bop)

And so am I

(Sha bop sha bop)

Maybe millions of people (sha bop sha bop) go by

But they all disappear from view

And I only have eyes for you

I Only Have Eyes for You lyrics © Sentric Music, Son

Bones McCoy was a very lonely man as his marriage had ended between a bitter battle between his ex wife and him and it also caused him to become alienated from his only child, a daughter, Johanna.

Bones McCoy's ex-wife had done her best to alienate Johanna from her father and even now Johanna resented her father for choosing his career with Star Fleet Command over her mother and her.

The Former Mrs. McCoy couldn't see their daughter or her living on board a Star-ship and her husband having no time for their daughter or her, so it ended rather bitterly.

Although Bones McCoy had tried to reconcile with his daughter, Johanna, the poison had already set in and Johanna wanted nothing to do her father.

Bones McCoy is the first one to admit that being a Star-Fleet Officer is a path to take and even a Star-Fleet Officer needs a companion.

Not many women want to marry a Star-Fleet Officer and their career takes first place over their private lives, which includes their marriages, their wives and children.

The wives rarely see their husbands as they are always on duty and they have rather sporadic hours.

They rarely see their wives and children, and most of their marriages end up in divorce.

Bones McCoy is one of the unfortunate men whose marriages ended up in divorce when he neglected his wife and daughter, and he paid the price for it.

Dr. Leonard David MCoy was belittled by his father, who was a Southern Baptist Minister for wanting to become a Doctor and his father didn't approve of his only son for joining Star-Fleet in 2238.
