Chapter 22

CeCe's POV

"Lou! Are we there yet?!?" I whined causing him to chuckle. "Not yet, we are only 2 minuets closer from the last time you asked." I pouted and crossed my arms. "Just 30 minuets babe, hang in there." He grinned poking my cheek. I huffed and turned the radio on. I heard the familiar beat and cranked up the volume and rolled down all the window sing at the top of my lungs, "I'm gonna pop some tags only got $20 in my pocket!!!" "If only Ivey, Alyssa, and Hayley were in the car!" Louis laughed. I giggled and watched the scenery we passed. After what felt like forever Lou finally pulled into a parking lot, got out, and opened my door for me (like a sir XD). "Let's go!" He said excitedly while grabbing my hand and pulling me as he ran toward a gate. "You took me to the fair?!?!" I yelled happily. He nodded "Ya come on I want a cotton candy!" I giggled as we skipped to the vender. "One giant blue cotton candy please!" Lou asked giving the man the money. Eating our sugary treat we walked around glancing at booths and rides trying to find what to do. At one many bottles were set in rows, five large rings in the carny's hand. "Ring toss! Come play ring toss!" She shouted. Another had at least thirty different colored balloons pinned to a wall. A little curly haired girl throwing the sharp darts trying to win a prize. What really caught my attention was a giant stuffed purple T-Rex hanging waiting for someone to claim it. I stopped staring at its fuzzy violet fur and big cerulean eyes which were pulling me in, calling me. I tucked a stray hair behind my ear and moistened my lips, snapping back to reality when a strong arm wrapped around my waist. "You want that purple dinosaur, don't you?" Lou asked following my gaze. "Ya, but I don't need it you don't have-" I rejected before he interrupted me. "No I can see it in your eyes how much you want it, I'm winning it for you." He argued determined. He marched over to the booth dragging me with him. "Hello sir what can I do for you?" The tall bald man asked. "I want to win that purple dinosaur." Lou stated serious. "Well in order to do that you must make the bell ring." The man smirked handing Louis a mallet. "No problem." Louis challenged flexing his arm. "£2 please." He replied. Louis handed him the money and swung, hitting the market only about 3 out of 5 feet up. He huffed and handed the man another £2 swinging again, this time making the bell at the top ding. "Here you go sir." The man said surprised handing Lou the dinosaur, who then turned and handed it to me. "Awe thanks Boobear! I'll name him Rexy!" I squealed. He chuckled and pecked my lips "You're welcome love." He took my hand and led me through the fair. "Can we go on that?!?" Lou said excitedly pointing at the Farris wheel. I nodded giggling as he did a happy dance before dragging me to the line. After about five minuets it was our turn to get in. "Two tickets please." The worker announced holding out her hand. Lou handed them to her and brought me to the blue cart and sat down. The safety bar was pulled in place and our seat went up as the ride started. I smiled at the view until an arm wrap around snapping me back to reality. I faced Lou looking into his beautiful cerulean eyes. His face was paled slightly; a nervous look took over his face. Leaning closer to his face I kissed his cheek in encouragement, I could tell he had something to tell me. He smiled before taking a deep breath. We were now stopped on the very top of the ride, the sun setting streaking the sky with different shades of orange, pink, and yellow. Swirls of colors mixing creating a breath takingly beautiful picture. "Sierra?" Lou whispered. "Hmm?" I hummed looking at Lou smiling. "I got you something." He replied reaching in his pocket. "Oh Lou you didn't have to." I told him. "No I didn't, but I wanted to." He smiled softly handing me a small velvet box. Opening it I gasped covering my mouth with my hand, tearing up." In the box laid a beautiful crystal encrusted ring, a heart shaped ruby at the center. "I love you so much, I was wondering if you would become mine, forever. Will you marry me?" I was speechless, so instead I nodded and smashed my lips to his. He smiled and sighed relieved. He pulled back and slid the engagement ring on my finger. We started to move, signaling the ride was over. I curled up to Lou's side, wiping a stray tear. "Sierra Tomlinson, I like it." Lou said pecking my lips.
