Chapter 26

Ivey's POV

*days later*

Today Asher was coming home from the hospital. We decided to surprise him by having Ariana over, she had been taking sign classes along with everyone else, and she wanted to show him what she learned. CeCe and Hayley have been teaching Asher at the hospital, since they knew a bit already.

"They're around the corner!" I told Ariana excitedly. She wheeled herself into the kitchen to hide, so he wouldn't see.

"We're home!" Alyssa called holding the door open for Liam, who was giving Asher a piggy back ride. Liam put Asher down ruffling his hair.

'Close your eyes, we have a surprise.' I signed. He did as told and Ariana wheeled herself in front of him. She tapped him on the shoulder, and before he could say anything signed, 'Hi Asher! How are you feeling?'

His eyes widened and he smiled. 'Better, thanks!' He signed back.

"You guys have fun, we'll be out here if you need anything. Be careful." Alyssa told Ariana and signed to Asher. They nodded, and Asher pushed Ariana into the game room.

Hayley's POV

"So did you decide on a date for the wedding?" Alyssa asked.

"October 4th, we sent out invitations a few days ago." Harry announced kissing me on the cheek.

Alyssa nodded smiling, then went to check on the kids.

"Hey, it's for you!" Ivey called holding the house phone out to me.

"Hello?" I asked.

"HAYLEY NICOLE QUINN WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE GETTING MARRIED! I TOLD YOU WHEN JUSTIN PROPOSED!" Madisyn yelled.

"Sorry?" I responded.

"Yeah, well Justin and I are flying down in three weeks and we're staying until a little after the wedding. See you then." With that she hung up.

"Well then!" I said putting the phone back on the charger.

"Maddi is coming in three weeks, and she's bringing Justin." I yelled.

"Maddi!!!!!!!!" Ivey said excitedly.

Alyssa's POV

*3am*

I awoke to someone shaking me lightly. I glanced over, squinting in the darkness, to see Asher with tears streaming down his face. 'Baby, what's wrong?' I signed.

'Had a nightmare.' He replied sniffling. I sighed and lifted him onto the bed, accidentally waking Liam in the process.

"What's going on?" Liam mumbled confused.

"Ash had a nightmare." I sighed. Liam tapped on Asher's shoulder and signaled him to come closer. Asher wiped his tears and snuggled into Liam, lying a hand on Li's heart, and fell asleep.
