Chapter 23

Alyssa POV

*one week later*

"Mommy! I wants to go swimming!" Asher yelled skipping down the stairs. He ran over to me and pulled on my pant leg. "Please! Please please please!" I chuckled and picked him up holding him on my hip. "Why don't we ask Daddy." I replied poking his cute little button nose. I took Asher up to Li and I's room where Liam was surprisingly still sleeping. Setting him down on the bed I kissed Li's cheek waking him up. "Daddy Daddy can we go swimming?!?!" Asher asked jumping on the bed. Liam smiled and pulled Asher into a sitting position. "Sure buddy! Just let me get dressed and we can go to the beach ok." Asher nodded and wiggled out of his arms and running out of the room screaming "Wake up sleepy heads we are going to the beach!" Liam chuckled shaking his head as he got out of bed. I grabbed my orange and white plaid bikini and made my way to the bathroom to change. "Hey babe?" Liam called. "Yes?" I replied opening the door. His eyes widened before he said "Um do you know where his er trunks are?" Liam stuttered looking around the room. I smirked while pulling on jean shorts and a tank top. "Top drawer." Grabbing the sunscreen I started to run around grabbing anything we might need. "Ok everyone in the van!" I yelled over the madness. "Here's how this is going to work, Harry is driving, Hayley is in the passenger seat. Then middle is Zayn, Perrie, Lou and CeCe on his lap. Last row Liam, Niall, and Asher. Ivey and I will be in the back with the stuff." I ordered ushering people in the van. "Alright let's go!" Asher cheered from his booster seat.

Ivey's POV

Alyssa and were calmly sitting in the back when I heard it. "TURN IT UP I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!" I shouted. Niall and Liam turned around watching Alyssa and I dance to Teenage Dream. She nodded and winked at me signaling me to do our signature move. "I'll let you put your hands on me in my skin tight jeans be your teenage dream tonight!" We sang as we put our hands on our right ankle sexily moving our hands up our leg. Alyssa winked at Liam making him blush and turn around. I giggled at Niall's surprised expression and high fived Alyssa. "We're here!" Harry said. "Yay yay yay!" Asher screeched. "I wanna get out! Daddy let me out please! Pleasey please!" I smiled and climbed out the trunk door which Niall opened for us. "Thanks Ni!" I grinned kissing his cheek. I ran down towards the shore taking my top and shorts off putting them down and running into the water screaming. "Ivey come get sunscreen on before you burn!" Alyssa demanded. "Yes mother." I huffed walking back to where our stuff was. "Come on Nialler! Let's go build a sandcastle!!!" I said taking his hand and running toward the shoreline with a bucket and a shovel. He chuckled "Looks like Liam forgot about Alyssa's tattoo and belly ring." I turned to see Liam staring wide-eyed at Alyssa. "Oi Liam!" Niall shouted causing Liam's head to snap over to us. "If you keep staring at her bum she's going to catch you." Alyssa turned around raising an eyebrow at him. "You arse!" Liam shouted. I giggled and started to make our sandcastle. "So you can speak Spanish." I stated. "Yup. Why?" Niall asked poking a stick on top as the 'flag'. "I don't know just starting conversation." I sighed. "You want to know what I said yeah?" Niall told me. I nodded giving him puppy dog eyes. "Nice try Princess, but I'm not telling." He smiled kissing my lips.

Hayley's POV

"I'm going in the water!" I yelled skipping toward the salty sea-foam green ocean. "No your not Missy!" Mama Payne warned in her motherly tone. "Yes I AM, your not my mother." I retorted. "Don't make me get Liam!" Alyssa growled. Liam gave me a stern look and I stuck my tongue out at them. "You're not the boss of me!" I scoffed. Alyssa turned to Harry and gave him a sharp look while I took a daring step closer to the water's edge. "Babe she's right your arm is broken." Harry warily reasoned not glancing at me but at Alyssa's menacing glare. "It's not like I'm going to dunk it in the water." I pleaded giving Harry my puppy dog eyes. "No." Liam demanded his eyes flicking between the three of us. "Harry!" I whined. "Babe just listen to them." Harry responded. Shaking my head I stomped into the ocean until the water was knee high. "Get back here!" Alyssa said urgently pointing to the spot in front of her. She new I was challenging her, I good see the irritated look in her hazel eyes. I saw her nod to Harry who took off running toward me. Before I could realize what was happening, he slung me over his shoulder, being mindful of my arm, and carried me back to our little spot. When he put me down I scowled and turned away. "Come on Hayley we're just looking out for you." He pleaded putting a hand on my shoulder. "I'm not a child." I grumbled shaking off his arm. "I know that, love." He whispered. I rolled my eyes ignoring him, and going on Instagram. After five minuets he broke the silence. "Please talk to me!" He begged. "Please babe." I sighed defeated "Oh alright." I put my phone back in my purse turning toward him. He kissed my forehead smiling relieved. "I didn't think that would work." His told me resting his head on my shoulder. "I could never stay and at you Hazza." I confessed smiling as we watched the others run around.

CeCe's POV

"Auntie CeCe can you help me pwease?" Asher asked holding up the spray on sunscreen. "Yeah sure." I smiled taking it from him, and spraying it on him. "Thanks!" He said putting it by the towels. I smiled and ruffled his hair "You're welcome sweetie." Suddenly I was picked up and tossed into the water. When I surfaced I looked around for who did this. Cerulean eyes met my own, a smirk planted on those pink lips. "Lou I will kill you!" I yelled jokingly. He chucked muttering an 'uh huh'. Feeling mischievous and daring, I jumped up and tackled him, making us both fall into the water. I giggled as he came back up looking surprised at what happened. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to his chest. "I love you Sierra." He whispered when our foreheads were touching. "I love you too Lou." I smiled looking into his sparkling eyes. I never noticed all the shades of blue and green. Navy, emerald, sky blue, green-blue, light ones, darker ones, all to make the brilliant wonder before me. I fluttered my eyes shut pressing my lips to his. I missed moments like this, where it was just Lou and I and the rest of the world disappeared; well until it was interrupted. A wave pushed us over dunking us in the cool water. Laughing we made our way back to our little area for lunch (or the meal between brunch and snack number 4 for Ivey and Niall). I took out a sandwich and some watermelon and started eating. I gazed around the scene before me. The golden sand met the teal colored ocean, waves brushing the hot grains like a painter to his canvas. The hot sunflower yellow sun beating down on the land and its visitors. A slight invisible breeze cooling and relaxing as it passes. I smiled enjoying the contentment of being at the ocean's edge.
