Chapter 18

Alyssa POV

*the next morning*

"Hey love." Liam greeted kissing me on the cheek. I smiled at him and continued to make chocolate chip waffles for everyone, since Asher requested it. "We are going to have a 1D family BBQ today at my mum's house. All of us boys' family will be there." He said excitedly. "Can't wait! It sounds like fun!" I beamed. "Mummy are my waffles ready?" Asher asked walking into the kitchen, his tiny feet hitting the tiles with small thuds. "Yes baby, do you want syrup?" I asked grinning at the fact that he called me mum. He nodded rubbing his eyes cutely. I slid his plate across the breakfast bar to where he would sit as Liam helped him into his chair. "Thank you!" He cheered eating his precut waffles. "Do I smell waffles?!?" Ivey asked sniffing the air. "Yup!" I laughed. "Asher can you wake up everyone else please?" Liam asked as I grabbed plates for everyone. He nodded and ran off toward Zayn's room. I combed my fingers through my hair, brushing my bangs back, then put it back to normal. I kept doing this when suddenly I felt a hand grab my wrist. "What's the matter babe, your obviously stressed." Liam asked concerned. "I'm just worried about meeting your family." I said honestly giving him a halfhearted smile. "They'll love you! I do!" Liam reassured grinning. I nodded and set everyone's breakfast at the table. "Hey mummy, my real mum and dad won't find me right?" Asher asked breaking the silence. "No baby, we won't let them hurt you anymore." I promised.

Hayley's POV

*at the Payne's*

"Mum!" Harry shouted when he saw Anne. He gave her a long hug, tears in both of their eyes. I giggled at the adorableness. He went to hug Robin and Gemma, a permanent smile glued on his face his dimples showing. "And you must be Hayley! We've heard a lot about you!" Anne said giving me a hug. "Harry you didn't tell us she was this pretty!" Gemma squealed making Harry blush. Harry came back over to me wrapping an arm around my waist and pecking my cheek. "And who's this?!?" I heard Karen say happily as Alyssa handed Asher to her. "Our son, we adopted him." Liam said proudly. "I'm an auntie!" Ruth and Nicola cheered. "Can we eat now?" Ivey asked and everyone laughed. "Wow you really are like Niall!" Greg laughed. "So how have you been Hayley?" Anne asked turning back to Harry and I. "Good, thanks! I'm going to nursing school right now, but I want to work for a children's hospital when I graduate." I told her. She nodded intrigued then excused herself to help with lunch. "Well we're glad Harold found someone good for him." Robin said smiling before walking away. "So what do you want to do?" I asked Harry unsure. "Want to play footie? Boys verses girls." He asked loud enough for the others to hear. "Yeah!" Asher shouted excitedly. "Well I guess it's settled then." Harry chuckled.

Ivey's POV

"The lady leprechaun strikes again! In your face Nialler!" I shouted after Alyssa shot the winning goal. "But you have more people!" Zayn pouted seeing as Liam's sisters and Lottie decided to join us. "Ya, but you guys have Lou!" I said sticking my tongue out at them. "Liam can you help me put everything out on the table please?" Karen yelled through the screen door. "Coming mum!" Liam said jogging into the house. Niall came up and spun me around in circle. "What was that for?" I giggled. "Just 'cause." He smiled. I returned it and kissed his cheek. "You missed." He stated. I rolled my eyes and leaned up and kissed him on the lips. "Awe!" Maura cooed. I pulled back and he kissed my nose. "Uncle Niall Auntie Ibee food is weady!" Asher giggled skipping over to us. "You want a piggy back ride Asher?!?" Niall exclaimed. "Yeah!" Asher cheered. Niall crouched down and Asher climbed on his back. Niall grabbed his legs before running to the patio where everything was set up, Asher laughing the whole way. I smiled and made my way over to all the scrumptious food.

CeCe's POV

"Awe and here he his in the bath!" Jay chuckled. "Mum!" Louis groaned his face turning tomato red. "Oh lighten up Lou, I'm only showing her the must see pictures." Jay responded winking at me. Lou scoffed before strutting off into the kitchen. I followed him "They're cute Lou!" I giggled. "Me cute? That's not manly!" Louis teased. "Oh please Lou your adorable, and you know it." I retorted. "I believe the correct word is sexy." He winked and posed in a 'sexy' way. I laughed and shook my head "Whatever you say Lou." He gasped "So your saying I'm NOT sexy?!?" "I never said that." I said rolling my eyes. "Fine no kisses for you." He said in mock anger. "Pfft you can't resist this!" I scoffed motioning toward myself. "Your right." He sighed defeated. "How about adorable and sexy?" "Sure Lou." I laughed. I stood on my tippy toes kissing his lips. "Now can we go eat?" I asked impatiently. "Your starting to sound like the leprechauns!" Louis laughed. I nodded and pulled him out to the backyard so we could eat.

Asher's POV

After we ate Uncle Zaynie turned on some music. Phobe took my hand and led me to where everybody else was dancing. I giggled and did the move daddy taught me: 1 2 3 flick. We danced until a slow song came on. I went back to the table and grabbed my juicey box watching everyone. Mummy and Daddy seemed to be in their own world. I smiled. I love Liam and Alyssa so much. My real mother and father didn't like me. Always said I was a mistake. Liam and Alyssa make me feel loved, they're my real mummy and daddy. I yawned tiredly and rubbed my eyes pouting. "Are you tired buddy?" Daddy asked. I nodded and he picked me up. "Hey babe?" Liam called to mummy. "Ya Li?" She responded turning around. "I think it's time to head home. It's getting dark and Asher's sleepy." Daddy explained. "Ok, I'll take him so you can say bye." Mummy said taking me in her arms. I sighed and closed my eyes falling asleep.
