"We're at war.  This event is a distraction." Lord Karstark spoke towards the young wolf he now called King in the North.  The elderly man stood beside his lord while they watched the preparations for his mothers fathers funeral almost be completed then the send off would be done afterwards.

The army of North men and the Velaryon fleet had been camping at Tully cattle for quite some time to rest and regain their strength.  Kings Landing was still some distance away from them at the moment.  "My grandfather's funeral is not a distraction." Robb made a point to remind the lord.

"Is there a battle going to take place today?" Karstark eyed the wolf boy.

"No."

Karstark licked his lips. "Then it's a distraction."

"My uncle Edmure has his forces gathered here.  We need the Tully men."

Karstark grumbled under his breath. "Unless he's been breeding we don't have enough to make a difference."

"Have you lost faith in our cause?" Robb finally turned his head to state at the elderly lord.

Karstark responded back.  "If it's revenge I'll still have faith in it."

"If you no longer believe-"

Karstark cut him off shortly. "I can believe till it snows in Dorne.  It won't change the fact that we've got half the men."

"You seem to have forgotten that we now have the support of House Velaryon and the ships that they have provided.  Including men who know how to sail, which is something none of us know anything about, my lord." Robb sternly declared back to the north man scanning his eyes over the other man's face finally seeing what he was thinking.  "You don't think we can win."

Karstark asked politely. "May I speak my mind, your grace?"

"Have you not been speaking your mind, Lord Karstark?"

Karstark shifted his gaze over the young wolf's shoulder catching sight of the familiar white Velaryon hair coming towards them.  The woman he spoke of was wearing the gray Stark colors so proudly with a direwolf trailing at her feet as she made her way in their direction.  "I think you lost this war the day you married her."

"She's your Queen, Lord Karstark.  You have no right to talk about her to me in that way!" Robb bared his teeth and his nostrils flared up at how he was speaking about the woman he loved.

Karstark noted the tone change in his voice. "Forgive me if I can't simply forget that she was wed off to the Kingslayer before she joined your bed, your grace.  Some of the other men don't believe her loyalty can solely belong to you and our cause."

"Keep speaking about the loyalty of my lady wife and we'll have to have a different conversation than this one, my lord." Robb threatened one of his bannermen not caring who else heard their conversation.  He was raised to defend his family and his wife was now a part of that family.  "I have no problem beheading someone myself just as a reminder to watch your tongue, my lord."

Robb soon forgot all about the lord beside him hearing the beautiful voice of his lady wife and Lord Karstark decided to take his leave and walked off somewhere else.

Holding up the ends of my dress so I wouldn't trip, I hurried over to my lord husband wanting him to experience what I had just experienced for the first time ever in a pregnancy.  "Robb. Robb, Robb, come here. I have something you need to see.  Come here quickly."

"What is it, Hael?  Is the baby okay?" He quickly came over to me once I had waved my hand over for him to come greet me.  Grey Wind laid down at the sides of my boots eyeing his master.
