"The proper course is clear: Pledge fealty to King Renly and move south to join our forces with his" I heard one of the Lord's say as I walked towards the gathering of Robb and his banner men.

Robb declared to the crowd. "Renly is not the King."

"You cannot mean to hold to Joffrey, My Lord. He put your father to death." One lord spoke back, seeing me now standing there where he pointed his index finger in my direction. "She married into the family that killed him. Why is she not in chains beside the Kingslayer!"

Robb sat back in his chair shaking his head towards the lord's tone. "That doesn't make Renly King. He's Robert's youngest brother. If Bran can't be Lord of Winterfell before me, Renly can't be King before Stannis." He glanced my way tiling his head for me to come stand beside him.

"Are we going to put this lioness with her sick husband or not?" I gulped nervously squeezing my best friend's hand, eyeing Robb who had a hand extended out for me to take.

Chezney and I unlocked hands and I slowly stalked my way over to the young wolf. Our fingers intertwined together before he defended my life to his army of soldiers who wished me dead. "The Kingslayer may be her husband but she is the last Velaryon. In case all of you have forgotten, House Velaryon followed the Taragaryn's until their throne was taken from them. I am choosing to take whatever loyalty against the Lannister's I can get. If any of you keep calling her a traitor I can't promise that I will keep trusting you and the loyalty of your house."

"Do you mean to declear us for Stannis?" One lord asked.

Another man raised his voice in disagreement. "Renley is not right."

"My Lords! Here is what I say to these two Kings-" The group of lord's started bickering against each other until one stood up in front of Robb. Lord John Umber declared to his fellow Northerners, spitting at the ground briefly. "Renly Baratheon is nothing to me, nor Stannis neither. Why should they rule over me and mine from some flowery seat in the South? What do they know of the Wall or the Wolfswood? Even their Gods are wrong! Why shouldn't we rule ourselves again? It was the Dragons we bowed to and now the Dragons are dead!"

"Seven hells." I muttered to myself surprised by what occurred next before my eyes.

Lord Umber then drew his sword aiming it at the wolf, bending a knee to him. "There sits the only King I mean to bend my knee to. The King in the North!"

"I'll have peace on those terms. They can keep their Red Castle and their Iron Chair too. The King in the North!" Another lord rose to his feet moving to bend the knee in front of Robb.

Theon asked his friend, making us both look his way. "Am I your brother, now and always?"

Robb simply replied back to him. "Now and always"

Theon then dropped on a knee drawing his sword moving in between the other two lords. "My sword is yours, in victory and defeat from this day until my last day."

I draw my sword from the holster attached to my hip, dropping down on a knee still holding his hand in my left too terrified if I let go this might be a dream. Our eyes staring into one another deeply. "I, Haelesa Lannister, formerly of House Velaryon pledge my loyalty to Robb Stark. The King in the North."

"Kingslayer's wife rides for House Stark!" Lord Umber stared at me while I pressed my sword into the dirt head held high. "The King in the North!"

"The King in the North! The King in the North! The King in the North! The King in the North! The King in the North!" Robb turned his head in every direction hearing the rest of his men draw their swords declaring it.
