"Gotta hold my hat extra tight since Sunny over here wants to speed!" Ava exclaimed, letting out a yelp as kate sped up the car. she was holding her phone up, recording so she could send her and kate's adventures to the team's gc.
They were on a little break. some of the players on the team were probably getting ready to go to Paris in a few days for the Olympics. which the rookies hoped to be able to attend one day in the future.
Latch by Disclosure ft Sam Smith played on the radio (Courtesy of Ava who demanded that Kate plays it) as they drove down a long road with dry hills on one side.
They had no idea where they were going. they were just enjoying the sun and the beautiful wind that blew around them, circulating and squeezing them wonderfully.
"WHATTT DID YOU GIVE ME TO MAKE MY HEART BEAT OUT MY CHEST." The girls sang together, doing shoulder shimmies as the beat went on. Kate reached over and put her hand under ava's jaw and squeezed her cheeks, shaking the girl's head annoyingly.
Ava just let it happen, staring at the camera boringly while kate's hand was still on her jaw and cheeks. she was watching kate through the camera. Sunshine was smiling at the road and glancing at Ava, laughing to herself.
Ava then started laughing herself, making her cheeks go big and made kate's thumb and middle finger create faux dimples into her chubby cheeks.
The rhythmic beat of the song seemed to get louder as Ava stared at the blonde girl drive. she was singing along with the song.
Ava had put her phone down and sent the video to the group chat.
"We should go to the mall? wanna go to the mall, mooney?" Kate asked, driving with her chin on the steering wheel. Ava looked at her silly but just accepted Kate's normal weird behavior.
