The Straw Hat Pirates were having breakfast withtheir passengers when Usopp looked up and his eyes widened at the sight thatgreeted him. "Hey, look guys! It's started snowing." "It'ssnowing?" shouted Luffy, who had immediately jumped up and rushed to thenearest window. Her eyes sparkled as she saw the white flakes falling from thesky. Even though it was harder to find something edible in the jungle of Dawnin winter, she had always loved this time of year. Actually, she had lovedevery season. After all, you could do something different in each one. Thebrown-eyed girl had made a game out of trying to catch as many snowflakes aspossible before Garp took her to Dadan. After Ace had come into her life, theyhad fun throwing snowballs at people in the city. Her brother had even come upwith a points system. 1 point if you hit someone, 2 points if it was the head,3 points if it was a policeman and 5 points for every noble they hit. Ace wonevery round, but she managed to hit more noble than him each time.
In just a few minutes the snow had covered theentire deck in a white blanket when Usopp and Luffy came out of the galley. They both grinned at each other before jumping down the steps and starting tobuild figures. Nami, who had immediately put on her winter clothes after thecold wind blew against her, looked out the window of the galley door. "Howthe hell can it snow? A minute ago it was still nice and warm and sunny."
Luffy grinned as she stuck a stick in the faceof her work. Snow had collected on her straw hat while she was building it andpressed it a little more firmly onto her head. "There, I'm done." Shetook a step back and put her hands on her hips as she looked contentedly at hersnowman. The straw hat wearer had used two pieces of coal for eyes and a pieceof watermelon as a mouth. She had tied a green blanket between the two balls asa cape. A barrel served as her snowman's hat and three sticks served as armsand a nose. She patted it's head a little as she said, "The man who camefrom heaven, Mr. Snowman." A laugh made her look at her gunner. "I'venever seen such a bad snow sculpture." The black-haired woman clenched herfists in annoyance and didn't even notice how she had puffed out her cheeks. Her jerky movement caused the snow to fall down from her straw hat. Usoppproudly stretched out an arm as he pointed to his snow artwork. "Beholdthe art of my soul: The Snow Queen!" The sculpture was a true masterpiece.A young woman who looked very similar to a certain heiress sat in winterclothing and with her legs crossed on a chair made of snow. Luffy had to admitto herself that Usopp's work was truly breathtaking. But she was still insultedby his words. Out of the corner of her eye she saw one of the sticks that werestuck in her snowman and an idea came to her. She crouched down a little behindthe snowman as she said: "That looks really cool." The long-nosedman, who was rubbing his nose in satisfaction, did not notice how thebrown-eyed woman began to grin as she slowly reached out with one arm.
"Snowmanpunch!" With a quick movement, she hit the slightly protruding end ofthe stick with her palm and sent it flying. The stick hit the ice queen directlyon the head, destroying part of the masterpiece. The black-haired man wasfrozen for a moment, still smiling as he looked at his captain. When he wasable to move again, however, he stared in disbelief at the damage beforelooking angrily at the straw hat wearer, who was laughing and holding her handsin front of her mouth. "You'll get that back!" shouted thecurly-headed man before he took a run-up and kicked Luffy's snowman in thehead. The young Portgas stopped laughing immediately. "AHHH! Mr. Snowman!"Her eyes landed on Usopp before she tackled him. "I'll get you forthis!" They both landed in the snow and struggled a little before thelong-nosed man managed to wriggle out from under the straw hat wearer. Beforeshe knew it, she was fleeing from Usopp's snowball fire. Another idea came toher when she saw the remaining snowball of her destroyed snowman. She grinnedas she took cover behind it before she began to roll the ball. The black-hairedman had stopped. The snowballs he had just been holding in his arms fell to theground as he saw the straw hat wearer's ball getting bigger and bigger."Now it's my turn!" As soon as she had said that, the gunner turnedon his heel and fled from the ever-growing ball. He might be one of the fastestrunners on the ship, but he still had no chance. Luffy gave the ball one lastpush and laughed as she watched Usopp get rolled over by it. Growling, thebrown-eyed man got up again before he lifted the ball over his head and rantowards Luffy. Luffy ran away from him laughing as he shouted: "Youbastard! I'll make you...!"
