"Papa, if you don't mind, can I adopt him?" I heard her asking papa.
"You don't have to ask princess, what you want, you get." Dada told her, I could imagine her smiling to his words.
"Krishna?" She asked papa. She was afraid of my reaction.
"I don't have a problem if you are happy, Rose." I told her, they didn't see me as I was at the living room's door.
"When did you come?" Dada asked me.
"Just now, but heard enough. Rose, from now on he is our son." I told her while taking the little cutie from her hands.

"He is so cute." I told her.
"He has your eyes." She commented, yes it was true. He had my eyes.
"What's his name?" I asked while cuddling the cutie pie in my hands.
"Aavi." She replied.
"Aavi Krishna Gupta Vardhan." I added.
Dada and Papa looked at me. I gave them a 'what?' look. Everyone in the family welcomed Aavi heartily. Nithi was the most excited.
"I will be his favourite uncle..." Nithi smiled and told everyone.
"No, I will be his favourite uncle." Vihaan retorted.
"No, it will be me." "No, it will be me."
Both of them quarrelled continuously. While Videhi took the baby in her hands.
"I don't know about his favourite uncle, but for sure I will be his favourite aunt."
"Me too." Netra joined her.
"Enough, with all of you. Give my grandson to me." Papa told Videhi.
"No, now it's my turn." Dada slapped papa's hands away.
"I want to spend time with my great grandson." Dada told him.
I saw Radha watching the family fight for Aavi, she was happy, I knew.
I took her arms and led her to our bedroom, closed the door.

"Happy?" I asked her after closing the distance between us.
Radha looked up at me, her eyes sparkling with a mix of joy and relief. "More than you'll ever know," she whispered, her voice full of emotion.
I pulled her close, feeling the warmth of her body against mine. "You did a beautiful thing today, Rose," I murmured into her hair. "Aavi is going to have the most amazing mother."
She looked up at me, a small smile tugging at her lips. "And he's going to have the best father," she replied, her eyes full of love.
I gently tilted her chin up, pressing a soft kiss to her lips. "We're going to give him the world, together."
Radha rested her head against my chest, and for a moment, we stood in silence, just holding each other. The distant sounds of our family laughing and bickering over Aavi floated through the house, a reminder of the warmth and love that surrounded us.
"We have a family now," she said softly, as if she was still processing the reality of it all.
I nodded, my heart swelling with pride and happiness. "Yes, we do. And I can't wait to see what the future holds for all of us."
She smiled, her eyes shining with unshed tears. "Neither can I, Krishna."
We stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, knowing that this was just the beginning of our new journey together. The love we had for each other had only grown stronger, and now, with Aavi in our lives, our bond was unbreakable.
Radha took a deep breath, her expression turning playful. "I think we're going to have our hands full with this little one," she said, her eyes twinkling.
I chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Definitely. But we're in this together, every step of the way."
She looked up at me, her eyes filled with a mixture of love and determination. "Together," she echoed, and I knew then that no matter what challenges came our way, we would face them as a family.
Our love was strong, and now, with Aavi, it had grown into something even more beautiful.
As we stood there, wrapped in the warmth of our shared dreams and hopes, I knew that this was the life I had always wanted—a life filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a future that we would build together, one step at a time.
