Jack couldn't concentrate the entire class. He just wanted to burry himself in the covers and never go outside again. Why did it bother him so much, tho? So what. She had a boyfriend. They could still be friends. However, a part of him wanted to be more. He always felt on edge while talking to her and would usually catch butterflies when she got closer. He hit himself in his head a few times to snap back to reality and just concentrate on whatever the teacher was talking about.
The class ended soon, and it was finally time for lunch. Jack quickly made his way to the canteen, putting his lunch in a bag. He wanted to eat outside, but as he was getting closer to the doorway, he ran into Emma. "Hi!" She said, noticing Jack. "Oh, hey. Where are you headed?" -"To the library. Wanna join me?" She offered smiling at the boy. "Yeah, sure." He answered and followed her towards the room. They walked over to a table and sat down. "You can eat here, by the way." She informed him. "Cool. You come here a lot?" He asked, unpacking his lunch. "I do. I study here sometimes, but most of the time i just read books. I love romance." Jack raised his eyebrows. "Me too." He said, and the girl smiled. . . . "Oo! Come with me, I'll show you my secret spot." She affirmed standing up, "But I still have to finish my chicken." -"It will take a second." -"Ugh, fine." Jack uttered, following Emma, rolling his eyes. She opened a wooden door in the corner, glancing over at the boy. "Go on." She said, and Jack shook his head, chuckling. Emma followed him in and closed the door behind them. "Wow, not much space in here." -"Yeah, well, it is technically a closet." She turned around to face Jack but was met with his neck. "Oh, sorry. I didn't realise there would be such little room for the both of us." She stated, looking up into his eyes. He was way too close, and it made her feel a little eager. Jack was trying not to make the situation weird, but it got even more awkward. He glimpsed over to her eyes and shifted to her lips, feeling butterflies in his stomach. "Uhm.. m-maybe we should just.." he stuttered, and Emma's face heated up. "Yes!" She said, already knowing what he meant. She opened the door, feeling embarrassed as she walked back to the table. They both sat on the chairs and smiled at each other awkwardly as Jack dug into his lunch.
