Jungkook's POV: His Room, Late Night

The moment Jungkook stepped into his house, a wave of exhaustion crashed over him, but it wasn't just his body that felt heavy.

His mind was still reeling from everything that had happened today the attack on his warehouse, the heated argument on

 the phone, and then... her.

He made his way to his bedroom,
his footsteps slow, each one feeling heavier than the last.

He didn't bother to change
his clothes or even turn on the lights.

Instead, he collapsed onto his bed, the cool sheets a sharp contrast against his heated skin.

He shut his eyes, hoping for the briefest moment of peace, but the darkness behind his eyelids only seemed to intensify the chaos in his head.

And there she was.

The first thing he saw — those eyes,
filled with tears, looking up at him.

Her face was etched into his mind,
a picture he couldn't erase even if he
wanted to.

He felt a pang in his chest,
an ache that spread throughout his body.

He could still feel the heat of her against him when he had pinned her to the wall, the sharp intake of her breath, the fear mingled with something else in her gaze.

 Something he couldn't name.

"Why did I lose control like that?"

he muttered to himself, his voice a
 whisper in the quiet room.

He wasn't the type to be easily provoked, yet something about her had pushed him past his limits.

He'd let his frustration
out on her, and he hated himself for it.

As he lay there, There were so many
similarities — the way she carried herself, the way she spoke, that familiar stubbornness in her tone, the way her eyes met his with that same defiant spark.

Even the way she flinched slightly when he raised his voice, but still stood

her ground... just like YN used to. The girl he'd married,

the girl he had lost. He remembered her so clearly now. Her laughter, her shy smile,

the way she used to tease him. Her voice, so gentle yet firm, always had a way of soothing him. He could almost hear it now, telling him to calm down, to breathe, like she used to do when he got too worked up.

"Why do you remind me of her?"

he whispered to the ceiling, a frustration building in his chest.

"Why do you make me feel like this?"

His eyes remained closed, but his mind was wide awake, tracing back every little detail he could remember from today.

Her face, her voice, her name... everything

felt like a cruel joke. How could someone

be so similar to YN, yet be so different?

Or was it just his mind playing tricks on him?

He exhaled sharply, trying to clear
his head, but the thoughts kept coming, fast and relentless. He couldn't shake the image of her eyes, the way they filled with tears because of him.
The guilt gnawed at him — he had never intended to hurt her. But seeing her like that... it
