Rise of the Snakes

Hello everyone!

This is the 2nd story of the series since I posted the pilot episodes as one story already so check it out before reading this one!

"Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using four elemental weapons. But when he passed, a dark presence sought out to collect them all: Lord Garmadon. So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, sought out to find four ninja to collect them first."

Sensei's words rung through Amethyst's head while she moved about restlessly in her room. Sensei had found his four ninja but there was still a looming threat- she has accompanied Sensei on his journeys to track down Garmadon but in vain.

She stared at the collection of the starfarer comics on her shelf, she approached the comics which had dust settling on them. Her fingers ran through the spines of the comics, scrapping off some dust.

Her eyes met the particles which had collected on her finger before blowing at it. She has not touched those comics since-

"Aw, man!"

She looked up, her train of thoughts broken, "did they get themselves in trouble once more?" She sighed before shaking her head as she made her way to find the other ninja.

"Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today."

Amethyst heard Sensei say which made her chuckle to herself. He always used to give her such advices when she was demotivated to clean her room.

She approached the gaming room to find the ninja there (as expected) and Sensei with a furious look on his face.

Cole grabbed a pizza off the floor, "Well, I was gonna eat this pizza tomorrow, so if that's the case..."

Sensei Wu kicked the pizza slice out his hand (mostly for sanitary purposes), to show that this idea did not sit right with him.

"No pizza for you!" Sensei told the Earth Ninja.

"Ow!" Cole exclaimed before his face twisted in surprise when his pizza hit the Wind Ninja's shoe.

"What-?" Amethyst frowned, picking the pizza off her shoe and throwing it away. She placed her hands on her hips while facing the boys.

They turned their gazes away from her, clearly frightened by the fact they may have gotten on her bad side.

"I told you not to litter." She scolded, picking up a napkin to wipe the pizza grease off her shoe, she groaned in disgust at the sight.

"I shall throw it away." Zane volunteered however, she simply shook her head and threw it away herself.

She walked to the empty spot beside Kai and plopped down next to him. "Princess." He greeted, "Firehead." She greeted back, earning a "hey.." from him.

Sensei Wu took a deep breath, grabbing their attention. Amethyst stared at him as he spoke, "In order to reach your full potential, you must train." He told the boys, who were slacking off.

Amethyst, of course, kept up training by learning how to multi-task; she has been reading and training simultaneously.

"Uh, remember when we did a little thing called the Tornado of Creation? I thought that was pretty insane." Kai told Sensei, pumping his fist up.
