- We Battle In Atlantis - PT 2

Sophie's POV

And...

The dagger hit me.

Oh no.

I collapsed on the ground of Atlantis, then...I blacked out.

I wake up in a cot at one of the Backswan's hideouts, I looked at the left and saw Techno crying. "I-Moon—" Techno burst out sobbing. "Hey hey, it's alright! I'm good!" I said, smiling. "It's not alright! I-I didn't do anything to get that dagger away from you.." She sniffled. I tried to get up but I flinched. "Owwwwwww!" I groaned, Techno rushed over to me to help. (WHY DOES TECHNO REMIND ME SM OF BIANA???) "Are you alright?" Techno asked, looking concerned. I nodded then flinched again. "Y-up! I'm fine. There's no reason to worry." Techno sighed. "You sound like Alden." She said. I chuckled at my friend.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door, I said: "Come in!" The door opened and there stood...Nightmare??? "Are you alright?" Nightmare said, I could tell that he was crying outside. "Yup—were you crying?" I asked. "N-no!!! M-my eyes were just sweating!" Nightmare answered immediately. I chuckled at him and flinched..again. "A-are you alright?" Nightmare asked. "Yeah, don't worry, Nighty." I said. Nightmare glared at me. "Don't call me that." He muttered and stormed out of the room and slammed the door shut.

After he left, me and Techno burst out laughing. "I-he-oh—" Techno burst out laughing. I tried to stop...but I couldn't. "I-oh-my-gosh!" I said, in between hiccups. "Sooo...you ready to walk?" Techno asked. I nodded, Techno helped me up and gave me a walker. "Wow, are you guys saying I'm old?!" I asked, Techno laughed at my joke. (No but seriously, I find it offensive)

Me and Techno started walking around the base. "Got any ideas for gadgets?" I asked Techno, she shrugged. "I...don't know." She said. I nodded. "You could make an invisible shield!" I said. Techno's eyes lit up the way whenever she talks about gadgets or builds them, OR gets ideas. "Yes!" She said, smiling. Her azure blue eyes sparkling excitedly, her smile shining.

We decided to walk to the attic but Mr. Forkle was there. "We found a skeleton." He murmured. Me and Techno looked at each other and followed Mr. Forkle.

Mr. Forkle showed us the skeleton. We gasped. "Woah..." Techno breathed. "I'll do some research on it.." she murmured walking away. "Well...if u have any energy, Miss Moonlark, you can look at the ancient books we've found. I nodded and started looking, Mr. Forkle leaving me alone.

I groaned. "This is useless!" I shouted throwing a book and hitting the skeleton, I flinched and went to check if it was broken or not. "Can't believe I'm doing this but.." I took a deep breath, can't believe I'm talking to a skeleton, I wanted to know if I am gonna go on an adventure or not. "Am I gonna go on a quest?" I asked the skeleton. The skeleton's eyes glowed green. (Bla bla bla it says the stuff) "Am I gonna go on a quest?" I repeated nervously. The skeleton spoke: "One Shall be lost in the temple of doom, the Agent Moonlark will take her Last breath soon, in the land of fire, one shall burn, And at last, a brave hero will not return..." The oracle said. "Woah...I..." actually. No. This was...amazing! I finally discovered something!

I walk around and looked at books, scrolls, even the walls for something...until I found something...

It was a symbol that's faint green. It was a trident, like this:

I gasped. "The mark of Poseidon..." I murmured.
