The Jade Princess

Lloyd looked around the room frantically, he gasped and ran towards the balcony which was left wide open. He looked down the rails and saw a mischievous person carrying a sack behind their back, "He's got the princess!" The Green Ninja said.

He quickly put his mask on flipped down the building and jumped to another. The random person turned to see if anyone was following, quickly, Lloyd hid and continued to chase him after he started to run once more. Lloyd slid down the roof and continuously jumped from one building to another.

He nearly fell forward and saw police officers circulating the block below him, "You gotta be kidding me," he took a few steps back and ran, gripping onto a wire which made him swing. He landed on a ladder which broke he groaned as the pupil below him gasped.

The ladder slowly started to break which worried him, after a few seconds later the ladder broke completely. However, someone grabbed his hand and pulled him up. It was the guy Lloyd was chasing.

Lloyd shifted his position to his stance as he said, "Who are you?" the figure removed their hood but it wasn't a male, nor a kidnapper. It was Princess Harumi as she gave him a small smile.

Lloyd was shocked, "Uhh, Princess? I thought you were kidnapped." he removed his mask, "I was trying to save you," he smiled with relief. Harumi was flustered but still spoke ignoring it, "Was that what that was?" she inquired, she slightly walked to the side of her hands behind her back, "From my vantage, it looked like I was the one saving you." she smirked and slightly teased.

He looked down, slightly embarrassed but blushing, "Then who's in the bag?" he asked, "You mean what's in the bag." she opened the sack that revealed tons of food, "Food for the less fortunate." she spoke, "Even though I'm confined to the palace, I still try to give what I can."

"But your bedroom, it was ransacked." Lloyd pointed out, "Yes. I can be quite a slob." she admitted, "Thank you for noticing!" she said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean—" he stuttered but was cut off by Hutchins screaming from the palace, "The Princess is gone. Find her!" he commanded. The guards immediately took action and started their search for her.

"They can't know I left the palace!" Harumi panicked, "You have to disguise yourself. Hurry!" she took a random piece of clothing off the rack and shoved it towards him. They were both in disguise, well at least Lloyd was since Harumi was already in disguise, they both jumped down, the sack being behind Harumi.

It was now calm and the cost was clear. Both Harumi and Lloyd made it to the poor side of Ninjago. Harumi climbed down the steps and walked towards an old woman and a little girl, she handed them food so that they could eat.

"Some things are easier to do when you're not a princess,"  she commented as she and Lloyd continuously walked handing out more food, "If I asked my parents, they would never allow it. But these people are hungry, and we have so much food in the palace." a group of people were now surrounding them both to have some food for themselves and their kids.

"Patience little ones!" Harumi laughed as they begged for food, "There's enough for each of you," Lloyd helped her but admired her kindness towards others. The bag was now empty as people let out a sigh of relief and chatted with one another.

The two teenagers walked away, "Can I ask you a question?" Lloyd asked out of the blue, "Do you enjoy being a princess?"

"Everyone thinks being a princess is supposed to be easy and wonderful and I guess it's okay, but a lot of the time it's really hard," Harumi admitted as she slightly frowned, "Huh. Tell me about it." Lloyd responded, "Not being a princess! I mean being the Green Ninja!" Lloyd quickly added as Harumi looked back at him. Harumi took off her hood as they were now on top of a bridge where water was beneath them.
