"I CAN'T BELIEVE that little fucktard." Nova rambles as she, Dylan and Ally walk to meet Amber who has been in Hogsmead with a girl called Maia Stanley (a sixth year Ravenclaw).
"I thought you said you didn't give a fuck." Dylan quotes with his fingers and Nova groans, shoving her hands into her pockets at the chilly wind. "Do you need me to beat his arse?"
Nova stares at her childhood best friend for a moment before bursting into sudden fits of laughter, clutching onto her stomach and Ally snickers whilst Dylan stares at the girls in disbelief.
"That was funny, Dylan!" Nova laughs, swiping away the tears in the outer corners of her eyes. "You always know how to cheer me up!"
"What the fuck." Dylan exhales, partially offended due to his friends' lack of faith in him and another part makes a smile creep onto his face because finally he has made Nova laugh.
For the past week, all she's done is sulk and talk about how she wants to shove Theodore Nott straight off the astronomy tower. Dylan had also been pretty pissed after finding out how that prick treated Nova. He chases after her for over a year and when she finally lets him kiss her...he just fucks off?
Hermione had told her that it was probably for the best and that he was a bad influence...Nova had chuckled because Theo didn't influence her to do anything. She was already a reckless, impulsive twat.
"Well, I suppose you'll just have to show him what he's missing." Ally smirks slightly and Nova feels herself fill with dread because that smirk cannot mean anything good. "Slughorn's Christmas party! You have to get all dressed up. I'll help you! It will be so fun."
Nova sighs, "I was planning on giving that a miss, actually." She grumbles and Dylan rolls his eyes.
"Oh! Nott will be there and I can't possibly look him in the eye." Dylan mocks a high pitched voice and Nova smacks him over the back of the head making him yelp. "I want to go! I'm supposed to be your plus one." Dylan rolls his eyes. "How am I supposed to get all the ladies attention with my suit if I can't even go to the bloody thing?"
"I'm what world do you get ladies?" Nova grimaces and Ally snickers at Dylan's offended expression.
"I get plenty, virgin."
"You're telling me you're not a virgin?" Nova raises an eyebrow and Dylan pauses for a moment.
"So what? Not for long, as long as you bring me as your bloody plus one."
"Fine! I'll go. And not for the sake of your prolonged virginity." Nova scoffs as they walk into ghe great hall.
The golden trio are not there, things have been tense to say the least. Ron had absolutely smashed out the quidditch match last week and soared them to a much deserved victory. And at said victory's party, snogged Lavender Brown.
