Jim POV:

'Crap, Crap, Crap'

I thought the weight of the situation sinking in. Not only was I on top of  Y/n but I was staring. I didn't mean to but there was something about his eyes, I just couldn't stop looking at them.

I was snapped out of my trance when he coughed signaling me to get off of him. "My bad." I apologized standing up before holding my hand out for him to grab. He took my hand using it to pull himself up.

Letting go he looked around at our surroundings using his now free hands to brush the dust off his clothes. "So where exactly are we?" Toby asked turning to Blinky. "Come, I'll show you." The troll beckoned us to follow him. We complied, walking behind him as he led us to a staircase of sorts. I felt myself gasp when the stairs lit up an electric blue glow.

Our group went down the steps going through a stone entryway where what I saw next had me in complete awe. "This is..." I trailed off, gaping at the sight in front of me. It seemed like a village of sorts surrounded by beautiful multi colored gems with one big bright orange stone in the middle which really tied the whole scene together. "Woah." I heard Toby say beside me. "This is your home?" Y/n asked, standing on the other side of me a slight twinkle in his eye.

"Trollmarket is home, and heart, and sanctuary for all good Trolls." Blinky explained, starting to walk down another set of stairs. "This way my friends, there's much to see." We followed him once more taking in the scenery with every step. "Dang! And here I thought the only thing underneath our town was dirty plumbing." Toby remarked, speeding up.
I glance back at Y/n who was strangely silent. The once fascinated look on his face had been replaced by a more calculated one, like he was trying to figure something out.

I brushed it off since it wasn't my business and continued listening to Blinky. He had warned us to stay close because humans have never been in Trollmarket before. That fact just made me even more uneasy about the whole first human Trollhunter thing. As we walked deeper into Trollmarket I heard whispers and mutters from other trolls which dimmed my mood. "Jim." I jumped feeling a hand on my shoulder but relaxed when I realized who it was. Y/n had a cautious look on his face which set off alarms in my head telling me something was wrong. "Are you alright?" I asked.

He shook his head. "Someone's following us." He said in a hushed voice, clutching the handle of his dagger. "And I'm guessing they're not friendly either." He warned.

I was about to say something when Toby ran up to us cutting me off. "Jim! Y/n! Check it out!" The red head pointed at the huge orange rock I'd seen before. "Maximum coolosity there!" He ran up to the stone balcony trying to get a better view. "Wow look at that." I said amazed with the sight.

Sadly our tour was cut short when more and more trolls began surrounding us. "What are humans doing here?" "Flesh bags!" And much more questions and insults were shouted at us. Blinky stepped forward trying to calm the crowd. "Friends, there is no need to be afraid, he is the Trollhunte-"
He tried to explain but was cut off. "What is this?!" A big blue troll with spikes on his back yelled pushing past the group. "I was just getting to that, Draal." Blinky said probably annoyed with being interrupted. "Human feet have never sullied the ground of Trollmarket before. Who are these fleshbags?" The troll who's name was revealed to be Draal said getting in our faces, mine more than anyone else's.

I felt a tug on the back of my jacket forcing me to take a small step back. I'm guessing the troll in front of me was the someone Y/n was talking about since the boy was the only one close enough to grab me. He'd been on alert since we walked in which was understandable. I'm pretty sure wherever he learned to fight is what taught him to be so on guard. "Believe it or not, he is... um. How do I put this? Our new Trollhunter!" Blinky explained. The other trolls obviously didn't share his enthusiasm as the crowd erupted into gasps of horror.
