shinji had made a terrible decision, he agreed to attempt to interface with the system, or rather he agreed the council would interface with it, as there was no way he was doing it by himself, he utterly refused, much to the amusement of the rest of the council, the problem was he couldn't advocate his position as head of the council, the other four members wouldn't let him, he didn't know entirely why, so he fell to the one thing he hadn't done in a very long time

and so here he was teaching english to a bunch of japanese students in kuoh academy

yep he ran as fast as he could, to the first devil controlled city he could find, only the four seraphs dare to bother him here, mostly michael, the other three are busy with the other four members of the council, but michael does show up every once in a blue moon

"class dismissed, i expect you all to be ready for the test next week" i said, as the group walked out, my eye was locked on the sacred gear holder, hyoudo his name was, i needed to get close enough to manipulate the sacred gear system and remove the damned sacred gear he has, asuka would burn him alive, if she found out, such a powerful tool was in the hands of someone so 'disgusting' in her words

personally he saw qualities in the boy that outweighed anything firstly he may try to look at girls he's never actively touched them or even made the attempt, he seemed to have a very slight amount of nobility to him, but more importantly he saw potential, to his truest friends the boy was loyal to a fault the problem was those kinds of friends were non existent forcing him to hang out with the other two perverts it was kinda sad really

he sighed, as he went to the teacher's lounge to finish his own work before heading home for the day, as he was walking home he noticed hyoudo and a woman who was clearly a fallen angel to anyone actively in the know, which hyoudo of course wasn't, he sighed, summoning the weapon given to him by hikari, the spear of longinus that she stole from a guy named cao cao, it felt fitting that he'd wield it for a number of reasons, he put down his case and quietly moved in

"would you die for me" the fallen asked as she moved to she attempted to stab him with a light spear which was blocked by my AT-field

"no one hurts my students" i said, as i pointed my spear at her

"leave and you might be forgiven" i said

"what are you an exorcist" she asked, while glaring fearfully at the spear

"no, i am much worse" i said

"whatever i will kill him later" she said as she flew away i sighed, and turned

"you alright hyoudo" i asked

"hai, sensei, what was that" he asked

"something which you won't remember of in the morning, come on, i'll escort you home" i said, as the spear vanished and i got my case before taking him home, as we neared his house, i touched his head

"you were nearly mugged, and was saved by me, i have escorted you home like a good teacher should" i said quietly while using a memory charm, and also extracting the sacred gear, i was glad i could manipulate the system so freely, the others were making significantly more drastic changes if the reports i read were true

"i know your there, inform your master, that i would like if we continued with the status quo, you know i am no threat to you as i would have done something by this point, also i have removed anything that would make the boy useful to your master, tell her to try and find someone a bit less disgusting please" i said, to the girl i knew was watching as i walked away back to my heavily warded home, something michael helped me with
