Gwen had no idea what time it was. Her brain was a little fuzzy, and a headache was already forming in such a way that made her squint her eyes, so everything was a little more blurry.

The intoxicating scent of Harry's clothing on her mixed with the alcohol in the air might not be helping either, but what was she to do when he'd made it abundantly clear that her stripping around Crab was an absolute no--- and, she enjoyed his jealousy too much to simply cancel their fun.

Maybe if Switch hadn't had such a stick up his ass about taking his clothes off, then Harry wouldn't have been so prudish on the whole ordeal. Although, he was very touchy when it came to Crab regardless of the situation.

"Night guys," she drunkenly smiled at Lucy and Jace as they were the last to walk out of the door.

"Rest up," Jace laughed at Gwen swaying a bit in the doorway. "And don't fuck up any of my handywork again."

"I wasn't drunk then," Gwen argued with a grin, placing a hand messily on her hip and cocking a brow at him. Well, she was pretty sure she'd cocked a brow.

But then he laughed again, darting his gaze over her face, "Yea, yea. You were just admiring a dirty mouth, huh?"

Gwen was too fucked up to try and deny that statement, knowing that her broken stitches were as easily torn apart like an old promise. That promise being to herself, that she wouldn't let herself trust Harry or get close to him.

So, she shrugged.

Jace chuckled, "Thought so. Well, don't go poking the beast. I don't wanna get a call that our newbie was mauled to death because he didn't decompress or some shit properly."

Gwen snorted, "He doesn't decompress. I'll be fine though; I think I have more spunk than he does."

"Probably," Lucy agreed.

"Well, you two be careful. Don't drive. I don't need my mediators on the news in the morning," Gwen pointedly said to them.

"I'm livin' forever, baby. Otherwise, you idiots would end up with a GSW and Kite's blind ass trying to sew you up."

"He isn't blind. Besides, H can manage," Lucy huffed at Jace.

But he only rolled his eyes and grinned, "Night, G."
