Vernestra Rwoh stood rigidly in front of the long meeting table, the hologram figures of the Jedi High Council members all looking at her expectantly. They had just explained to her the situation at a planet called Bleise where a new Jedi Temple was being constructed, with which it was not being particularly welcomed by its residents.

"We trust in your capability to handle this important situation," Master Adampo said calmly, but his words implied a large responsibility onto her shoulders. "We could not choose any better person to handle this diplomatically."

"Thank you for your trust. I will see to this matter immediately." She curtly bowed. "However, I have one request. I would like to be accompanied by one of my best students. If you would allow it, I would like him to learn about the diplomatic affairs of the Jedi firsthand."

"This student you speak of, who is?" Grandmaster Yoda asked encouragingly.

"Ren. He was recently knighted due to his impeccable combat skills and connection to the force. He has a way with words and could be very convincing, and I think he could be of great help on this mission."

I've heard about this student of yours," Master Teri commented, her tone sounding strict and critical. "Isn't he the one with the tendency to become too... aggressive during combat?"

Despite her carefully chosen word, Vernestra understood what she meant.

"Yes, he has a tendency to stray away from the traditional combat forms and discipline of the Jedi, but we understand that most of it is influenced by his past as a young marauder. However, I believe this is just a trivial flaw in comparison to his notable skills and achievements." Vernestra looked at her with a small yet challenging smile. "And considering his knighthood was approved despite his young age, I understand that the Jedi do not judge the students based on their past."

At her polite yet subtle way to imply that Master Teri was being too hypercritical of her student, Master Teri had no choice but to purse her lips knowing that Vernestra had a point. The other members of the High Council nodded in agreement amongst themselves, seeing no further need to disagree with her. Grandmaster Yoda turned back to her with a smile.

"Approved it is, your request. Come to Bleise with the student, you may."

"Thank you for your consideration."

As the holograms turned off one at a time signifying the end of the meeting, Vernestra turned around and swiftly headed out of the room to find Ren.

Mid Rim Planet

The Jedi starship swiftly landed on the rocky plateau of planet Bleise, and not long after, Master Vernestra Rwoh and her student, Ren, stepped off the ship.

There were some Bleisian docking bay staff around the area, but it was quickly apparent that they were not happy with the presence of new Jedi's based on their lack of welcoming combined with their hostile stares. Vernestra observed Ren at the corner of her eyes to see how he would deal with the unwelcoming environment, but it was not to her surprise that he was able to maintain his confident and calm demeanor. He even greeted some Bleisian staff with a polite nod despite not expecting a good response in return.
