The next morning all of them left the resort and dismissed to their respective destinations. As the marriage was only 3 days away, the couple had so much to do. They had to try on their wedding dresses, finish the work in the office and most importantly, their mission was coming up as soon as their wedding would be finished. Freshening up, the cold stones directly went to their respective offices, where their assistants were waiting. As soon as they saw their bosses' they started to report what happened since they left and how much progress had been made.
In Ryan's office..
"...The last meeting is at 11:30 and after that we have to visit the office to check the progress. It is almost ready as per the boss's instructions and if the boss wishes to change anything, it can be done by tomorrow." Ryan hummed, still looking into the laptop. Noah informed "President Wood and her Assistant would also be visiting the site during the lunch hours to check the progress." As if the only part he heard was Amara's name, he instantly said "Arrange for us to have lunch with President Wood once the reviewing is done. You can accompany Mr. Sam." Noah was okay with the first part of his boss's instruction as he know that when Amara was present, his boss would have eyes only for her. But the second part of the sentence shocked him. 'Does he know that..I'm interested in him..?' Not getting a response, Ryan looked at him "Understood?" "Y-Yes boss."
After the meeting, Ryan and Noah were at the site of their new building. After the marriage, The Stone industries and The Wood industries would begin working together and would be each other's highest share holders so Amara and Ryan decided to shift to a larger company as it would only look appropriate for the couple to work together at the same place. That way, they can also discuss about the base in peace and no one would interrupt them. Soon, Amara's car arrived and Ryan's eyes fixated at the back door of her car. He only saw her that morning but he was still eager to see her again. First Sam got down the car and opened the back door of the car. Amara stepped out of the car looking like a pure business woman, completely different to her attire last night. Stepping out of the car, Amara looked at Ryan and walked towards him. Though her face was cold, her eyes held warmth after seeing him, which didn't go unnoticed by Ryan. They nodded at each other.
On the other hand, after seeing Sam, Noah's heart couldn't help but catch up pace as he was getting a complex feeling after seeing the man he likes. Sam was a handsome guy. He was tall and had honey brown skin which made him look even more attractive. His thin lips and pointed eyes were the most attractive part of his face. His biceps and veiny arms aware the proof of his work outs. He was a built man who could pull down anybody with a few moves. He was the perfect example for an Assistant.
Noah, was as the same height and had the same body shape as Sam. His sand colour skin the most perfect colour a man could have. His blue eyes could make anyone instantly attracted to him. Sam and Noah nodded to each other. Ryan looked at Amara and said "After you." As Amara and Sam walked at the front, Ryan looked at his assistant, who was mesmerised by the guy walking in front of him. "I know that he's handsome but stop drooling on him and focus on work first." Startled, Noah shifted his gaze away "Apologies boss." He knew that Ryan understood the fact that Noah was interested in Sam so he didn't bother hiding it anymore. After visiting their offices, Sam looked at Noah "Mr. Noah, a moment please." Nodding, Noah walked aside with Sam, leaving the couple alone.
Amara looked at Ryan and questioned "Why do we have separate offices?" Ryan looked back at her "So that I won't get distracted." "Huh?" Ryan looked at her with a meaningful gaze "If I stay in the same room as you, we will never finish our work as I'll keep you busy." Looking away, Amara mumbled "So shameless." "This shamelessness made you scream under me like crazy that you lost your voice. I still remember your honey like sounds..Uhmm.." A delicate palm covered his mouth as Amara glared at him with her cheeks red. "Another word and I'll chop your tongue." As Ryan nodded, Amara removed her hand only to hear him say "If you cut my tongue, it would be a problem for you." Amara swore she felt like pushing him off the highest floor of the building. How can he embarrass her with all the lewd talk? Stomping her feet, Amara walked away angrily as the corner of Ryan's lips curved up 'It's so fun to tease her.'
