Part 4: What is this place?

His eyes adjust and he sees he is flying through multiple bright-pink clouds. Some with those green tubes on them and the blue light. He was honestly a bit in awe of it but he snapped out of it when he heard whimpering and grunting. He looks in front of him to see Luigi floating a few feet ahead of him, spinning outta control.

"Luigi!"

"Mario!"

Mario put his hands to his side, making him go faster and he managed to catch up to Luigi. He grabs Luigi's hands, stabilizing him as they spin in circles.

"It's all gonna to be okay," Mario reassured.

"How is this gonna be okay," Luigi asked, freaking out.

"I'm telling you, nothing can hurt us as long as we're together," Mario stated with a smile.

Hearing his brother's words and seeing his smile, put Luigi's nerves at ease.

But suddenly, he was pulled into another blue light tunnel that led to some stormy, black cloud. They called out for each other but it was too late as they were already too far from one another.

Mario screams as he is shot out from another green pipe. He grunts as he crashes into a mushroom, bouncing off said mushroom onto another before sliding off onto the floor. He groaned as he slowly got up and fixed his hat.

He massaged his shoulder a bit and then noticed his surroundings. He was in some odd forest that consists of red and blue mushrooms, some tall and some small. Some birds flew in the sky as there were also some little mini islands with waterfalls coming down from it in the sky with mushrooms as well.

He saw one of the small blue mushrooms and went to touch it.

"Do not touch that mushroom! You'll die!"

Mario screamed as he jumped back from the strange creature yelling at him.

It was a small human-mushroom with fair skin, black eyes, chubby cheeks, a mouth stubby feet. His mushroom cap is white with five red spots and he wears a blue vest with yellow lining, although the lining wasn't originally shown. He has white pants, brown shoes, a somewhat hefty backpack and a spear much taller than him.

The creature breathed heavily but then relaxed when he looked at the mushroom.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He chuckled as he patted the mushroom. "That one's perfectly fine."

"That's a little mushroom man. A little mushroom man is talking to me," Mario said, freaking out a bit.

"Please to meet ya. I'm Toad," Toad introduced as he approached Mario.

He then ran past Mario who noticed some colorful ladybug type creatures which are called Biddybuds.

"Uh, Mario," Mario introduced, now confused.

Seeing as he doesn't know where he is or what is happening, he decides to run after and follow Toad.

"So. This is--This is not a dream," Mario asked.

Toad quickly turned around and smacked Mario's arm with his spear, hurting him.

"That hurt, right," Toad asked.

"Yes," Mario stated as he rubbed his arm.

"Definitely not a dream," Toad said as they continued walking.

"Then it's--This place is--"

"The Mushroom Kingdom," Toad replied.

"Mushrooms. Really? Now, that is a cruel twist of fate," Mario muttered, not too pleased.

He sees a creature flipping itself around and planting its feet on flat surfaces and repeating that as it was over him. The creature has an orange face with yellow spots and long, green brambles for legs. Its feet consist of yellow suction cups, one at the bottom of each bramble. This creature is called a Bramball
