The Super Plumbers Royal Adventure

Part 9: New ride

At one of the huts, Mario was icing his face from the fight as the royals were standing with him, so happy with how the fight played out.

"That was incredible," y/n exclaimed. "He kept beating you senseless and you just kept getting back up? You just don't know when to quit."

"Huh! Well, never thought of that as as good thing," Mario admitted.

"It's a great thing," Peach admitted.

"Thanks I--"

Mario was cut off by a door being punched off its hinges and then Donkey Kong poking out of the door behind them.

"I let him win. Just for the record," Donkey Kong stated.

"Really, though? Why would you do that," Mario asked as he turned around to face the Kong.

"You wanna know why? It's mind your own business, that's why," Donkey Kong replied, not happy.

He threw a near barrel to Mario who dodged it. The barrel then suddenly broke as Peach quickly took out his sword and used it to cut the barrel, making the pieces scatter around them.

"Sore loser much," Peach commented as he put his sword back in the sheaf.

"Shut it princy," Donkey Kong exclaimed.

Mario gets annoyed by Donkey Kong's attitude and hands y/n his ice pack.

"All right, giant monkey," Mario said, as he walked up to Donkey Kong, ready to fight.

Donkey Kong was equally as ready for the fight but before either of them could do anything aside from glare at each other, a cane came in between them.

"Enough," Cranky exclaimed as he walked in between the two. "Get inside."

The group walks inside the hut as two guards stay outside, protecting the hut. Inside Cranky points at a map of their world. The royal carefully listened while Donkey Kong was laying in a hammock, eating a banana, half paying attention. Mario glared at Donkey Kong while Toad just sat there.

"We've located Bowser's ship. He's gonna arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom by sundown. Lucky for you guys, I got a shortcut," Cranky informed.

"We beat him there and ambush him," y/n exclaimed.

"Now that's a plan I'm on board with," Peach said.

"Yeah I know. That's why we're gonna need karts," Cranky explained.

Cranky talks the group to the big workshop filled with different kart parts and pieces. Inside there were many Kongs working on improving their own karts as there were multiple booths where karts can be chosen. The group was impressed as it was pretty incredible seeing the different karts.

"Well, what are you waiting for," Cranky asked, noticing them just standing there. "Pick your karts."

They walk over to the booth where they have three wheels in front of them. There they can choose what they can put on their kart and a Kong appears. They put on some goggles as they were gonna work the machine to make their custom karts.

After picking their features, they watch as the Kongs get to work. Making their karts and after a few minutes, they got their karts. Mario had a standard that was in his color scheme and had the same M like his hat. Both royals had match bikes, each in their respective color as they changed out of their royal attire into more appropriate bike attire. Toad's kart was much bigger than theirs which choked them as he had a Tiny Titan. To add to the look, he had on a pair of sunglasses as he roared the engine. Though it was a bit too much for him and it caused the glasses to fall off him as he tried to control the kart.
