The next day, passing some leaves, the group arrives at the Jungle Kingdom. As they walked to the big wooden door with two monkeys on it Mario looked around, taken in the environment. Y/n lifted her skirt up a bit but before she could even take a step on the stairs, Peach held out his arm to her. A little smile forms on her face as she grabs his bicep and they walk up the stairs as Mario runs to catch up to them.
They stand at the door where Peach steps forward. Ready to knock at the door as the others stay behind him.
"You ready," y/n asked Mario.
"Uh, sure," Mario said, not really confident.
Peach grads one of the gold knockers to knock twice before stepping back. The door then suddenly swings open as a Kong with light brown-yellow fur wearing a white blazer roars at them. This sudden action scared Mario along with Toad who goes behind y/n. Peach instinctively puts his arm in front of y/n as he was ready to grab his sword. The Kong then glares at them as Peach glared back, both ready to fight.
"What," Toad said softly as he peered from behind y/n's dress.
"How you doing," Mario asked, a bit awkwardly.
Y/n gently touched Peach's shoulder, signaling to him that it's okay. He then slowly put his arm down and y/n took a step forward.
"We are here to see the king," y/n told the Kong.
The Kong growls as he gets up in their face, trying to intimidate them, mainly y/n as she was the one who made the request. Seeing this, made Peach grip the end of his sword as he didn't like it while Toad and Mario didn't know what to do. Y/n glared back at the Kong, making it clear they weren't leaving without seeing the king. Seeing her look, the Kong backed down.
"Follow me."
The Kong walked back inside as they relaxed.
"That gorilla's wearing a sports coat," Mario said, shocked.
"Feel underdressed," Toad said with a little chuckle.
They hear an engine start and see the Kong was now in a yellow-green kart.
"Hop in," the Kong said in a cool tone as he put some sunglasses on.
The three humans got in the back and the Kong pressed a button which made and extra little seat appear for Toad. So he tossed Mario his backpack and hopped in. Once they were all in, the Kong immediately started to drive.
He quickly makes a u-turn and the sudden speed caught the humans off guard.
We're talking away
Peach grabbed the rails with one hand and held y/n close to him with the other as Mario was left to stabilize himself while Toad was enjoying the ride.
I don't know what I'm to say
They drive down the rocky road before arriving at a wooden ramp. They jump off the ramp as the humans were a bit scared as Toad was loving it
I'll say it anyway
They land another ramp and just drive in this crazy racing course.
Today is another day to find you
Shyin' away
Filled with turns and jumps as they all hung on for dear life
Oh, I'll be comin' for your love, okay
But once they got to a stable pace they were able to see the kingdom.
Take on me
Seeing how the kingdom is full with big green-rocky mountains, clear blue water with huts on top and more wood brigade all over the place.
