Vox's POV

I pull out my phone and start tapping, writing a few things on Voxigram. One was to answer a message for work. Two was to write that Al, Val, and I are dating. I see Valentino kiss Alastor's head and take a photo of it. I don't post the photo, I doubt Alastor will want that, but I just posted that we three are dating. My phone starts blowing up immediately, making me almost drop it. I stumble with my phone before I get a hold of it with both my hands. Val's phone starts blowing up too.

"Soooo, uhhh, just know for a bit now people will surround you with questions every time you step outside. Just answer honestly unless it's too personal. Or just disappear in your shadow magic trick thing," I say. Then I see a message from Carmilla. Shit.

"How are people reacting?" Valentino asks. He picks up his phone with one of his upper arms. He scrolls through it, squinting his eyes to read the messages. "Seems some don't believe you."

"Well there's always going to be people who don't believe in anything. Now we should get the day started! I have a lot of work I need to catch up on, so Al, you can hang out with Valentino until I'm done." I kiss both their foreheads and ruffle Alastor's hair before leaving. I look back at the message from Carmilla, reading it as I walk to my office. Now that she knows I'm with Alastor, she knows I lied. Crap. She also doesn't believe that Al is dating Val and I. I think if Alastor broadcasts it, a lot more people will believe us. I call her, she picks up almost instantly.

"Vox." I do not like her tone. She means business and no jokes. She also sounds slightly annoyed or mad.

"Carmillaaaa! Hiii. So, uh, about Alastor. Heh. I apologize for lying. He," I lightly scratch the frame of my screen, "is with me. He was just asleep."

"So you three are dating. This is not something to gain attention from?" She asks. Of course she would think that.

"We are dating. It's not a joke. What...what did you need Alastor for anyway?" I kick one of my feet back and forth, looking at the floor. I kick a small rock down into the abyss.

"About the cure, for the human phenomenon. Or have you forgotten?" Oh right, that. I forgot about that.

"Oh yeah yeah. I've found a cure. A little while back though. The cause is Velvette's potions, so she stopped selling them."

"And how did Alastor acquire this potion? We both know he wouldn't willingly buy the potion." How do I explain that to her? That Valentino kidnapped Alastor and now we're all dating? That wouldn't exactly look good and give another reason for Carmilla to think it's not real. Or she'll think we're forcing Al to be with us. More than likely the second one. "Actually, I really don't want to know. I'm assuming Alastor is back to normal. May you send over the cure information so we can fix this?"

"Uhh. Yeah yeah. I will."

"Great. Goodbye, Vox." She hangs up. I stuff my phone into my pocket. Back to work, I guess. I crack my knuckles and sit down. I pull up a file from Baxter's work he sent and scan through, then send it over to Carmilla. Now I have just a bunch of paperwork to do it. Ew.

Valentino's POV

I sit in my studio, Alastor on my lap reading a book. I keep my lower arms around his waist while my right upper arm has my cigarette. My left hand lightly strokes and scratches his ears. Angel walks out the dressing room and starts his recordings. I swear I hear faint purrs from Alastor, but I might be hearing things.

After Angel finished his shoots, I let Alastor leave to go find Vox. Angel goes to his dressing room, then once dressed he leaves. I talk with Travis about a few things we can try for future shoots, then go to find Alastor and Vox. I find Vox in his office, tapping away on the computer. Alastor isn't near him. Where is that deer? I search just about anywhere only to find him on our fridge, reading.

"Baby, what are you doing up there?" I ask. He looks up from his book and looks around.

"Just reading." He shrugs.

"On top of the fridge?" He nods. I use my two upper arms to get him down. I take him to Vox, who's still tapping on the computer. "Oh Voxxy~"

"Yeah?" He turns around in his chair. "How was work? I assume Alastor was reading through all of it." I nod and look at Alastor, who's reading as we speak. It's like he tunes everything out as he reads or only uses his big fluffy ears when he wants to hear.

"You want to show him your surprise? The project you work on without sleep unless I come and get you?" Alastor's ears perk up at the sound of that. "I know you finished it. You even worked on it when you didn't think Al would come back."

"Yeah, I'll show him. Give me one sec." He taps on his computer rapidly before shutting down the systems. The screens go black as he lifts from his chair. "Al, baby, close your eyes." I take Alastor's book from him, spawning a bookmark and placing it where he left off. I set him down and he closes his eyes. "Now keep them closed. Do you trust me to guide you there?"

"...Yes," Alastor says. Vox grabs Alastor's hands, leading him out of his office. We walk to the room Vox has spent forever working on. I swear that's all he would do if he had extra time or was missing Alastor during Lucifer's pathetic bitchy lie to get us to break up. But guess who doesn't have a wife anymore?

Vox opens the door and instructs Alastor to open his eyes. I look at our deer demon's expression with a smile.
