"C-cal...can you give me a glass of water please?" luke questioned with a sore throat
"of course love" calum responded and picked up the glass of water that was on the bedside table beside lukes hospital bed.
he handed the glass to luke and helped his love drink the cold liquid.
luke gulped with difficulty considering he hasn't ate anything in the last few months.
calum placed the glass on the table and sat down on the chair where his place was now because he hasn't left lukes side at all since luke was diagnosed with cancer.
calum took lukes hand, admiring the pretty gold band on his bony,pale ring finger.the band now looked a little big on luke,it was practicary slipping from his finger.
"you still manage to look so beautiful even when you're broken"
calum whispered as he played with lukes fingers.
calum wanted to stay with luke as long as he could,but luke was slipping past his fingertips, literally.
"we should make the ring in to a necklace...its practically falling from your finger"
calum chuckled slightly trying to sugar coat the bad;no really bad situation.
"its okay cal... I understand that I'm starting to look disgusting and I understand that I'm too ugly to wear the ring that sealed out marriage"
luke said totally not understanding what calum actually meant.
"I understand that I'm not worthy of wearing this ring..."
luke continued,looking down at his pale body wrapped up in white blankets.
"oh princess...I didn't mean it like that!I would never stop loving you luke, you mean everything to me.you make me happy and that ring that you're wearing on your precious hands that I love to hold so dearly doesn't even define how much I love you.
yea it sealed our marriage but a gold ring like that will never ever be worth more than the person who is wearing it and that's you luke...
you may be soggy from the chemo and you are counting down the days to go,but either way when I look at you I don't see a distressed boy who has cancer...I see my love,my life,my husband,my friend,my forever, because you are my infinity lukey...and I'll stop loving you when the galaxy dissapears and I don't think that's possible ,but if you're like a secret scientist who knows everything in the world and that can tell me that the galaxy will stop working and be gone forever by tomorrow okay then,but till then...I'll love you forever, because you make me happy,you make me shine like the sun in telletubbies!"
calum finished with a giggle and luke couldn't help but smile as well because yes he loved calum and calum loved him too...
and after that calum found a string and wrapped the ring around it and tied it behind lukes neck and calum decided that nothing could make luke more beautiful.
|if you haven't caught up yet I update this everyday until Friday or Saturday depending when my inspiration dies bc luke has to die :'(
anyway I have an explanation why I didn't update yesterday which was Sunday BC I'm in Greece ATM and If I don't go on the beach I write but yesterday my girl problems came such as cramps and shit and I had the chapter written,but I didn't have the end of it so I wrote it today which is Monday so today you'll get two chapters because I'm not going to the beach BC I hate the sun and I'm already tan and if you guys want an alternative ending then comment and maybe I'll do it|
