As Taehyung settled into the driver's seat, he handed the sketch he had drawn to Jungkook, who was casually lounging in the back seat of the car.

Jungkook took the sketch from Taehyung's hand, his eyes scanning over the details. His lips curled into a satisfied smirk as he admired the artistry. "Not bad, Tae. You've got a good eye," he remarked, his voice carrying a hint of amusement.

Taehyung, trying to act indifferent, shrugged. "It's just a sketch. Don't get too full of yourself."

Jungkook chuckled softly, his gaze flickering from the drawing to Taehyung. "You've captured my best angles. I'm impressed."

Taehyung glanced at him in the rearview mirror, trying to gauge whether Jungkook was serious or just teasing him again. "Well, you wanted it, so there you go. Consider it a thank you for not causing too much trouble lately."

Jungkook leaned forward, resting his elbows on the back of the driver's seat. "Oh, but I haven't given you back your stolen items yet. Maybe I'll trade them for another sketch... or maybe something else?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes, trying to keep his cool despite the closeness of Jungkook. "How about you just give me back what you stole, and we call it even?"

Jungkook's smirk widened as he leaned closer to Taehyung, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Where's the fun in that? I think I like the idea of you owing me something."

Taehyung's heart raced, though he tried to keep his expression neutral. "And what exactly do you want, Jungkook?"

Jungkook leaned back again, casually folding the sketch and slipping it into his pocket. "I'll let you know when I figure it out," he replied, his tone light but his eyes betraying a deeper interest.

Taehyung shook his head, starting the car and pulling away from the curb. "You're impossible, you know that?"

Jungkook laughed, a sound that was both infuriating and oddly comforting. "And yet, you keep coming back for more."

Taehyung didn't respond, his mind already swirling with thoughts of what Jungkook might demand in return. As they drove through the quiet streets, the tension between them hung in the air, unspoken but undeniable.

Jungkook's smile faltered just slightly, though he quickly recovered. He leaned back in his seat, crossing his arms as he regarded Taehyung with a contemplative gaze.

"That's a tempting offer," Jungkook mused, his voice soft yet teasing. "But where's the thrill in that? You're not really in a rush to get rid of me, are you?"

Taehyung kept his eyes on the road, gripping the steering wheel a bit tighter. "I just want my life to go back to normal. No more break-ins, no more weird encounters. Just... peace."

Jungkook tilted his head, studying Taehyung's profile. "Peace, huh? And what about all the excitement I bring into your life? Don't tell me you're not even a little bit entertained by all this."

Taehyung sighed, his frustration evident. "Entertained? You almost got me killed, Jungkook! I don't need that kind of excitement."

Jungkook's expression softened, and for a moment, there was a flicker of something genuine in his eyes. "Maybe... but you can't deny that you've been thinking about me a lot. Sketching me, even. Maybe you don't want things to go back to normal as much as you think you do."

Taehyung shot him a sharp glance through the rearview mirror. "What are you getting at? What do you really want from me?"

Jungkook leaned forward again, closer to Taehyung, his voice dropping to a serious tone. "What if I said I don't want this to end? What if I said I want to keep seeing you, just like this?"
