As soon as they entered the mansion, Taehyung headed straight to the living room, grabbing his phone and settling down on the couch. Jungkook followed, watching as Tae quickly opened YouTube and searched for "The Night We Spent."
The video had already exploded in popularity, reaching 3 million views in just a short time since its release. Taehyung raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Wow, that was fast," he murmured, scrolling through the comments.
Jungkook sat beside him, his arm casually resting on the back of the couch. "People really liked it, huh?" he said, glancing at the screen as clips of the music video played.
Tae nodded, scrolling through more comments, many of which praised his performance and his chemistry with Jennie in the video. "Yeah... but there's a lot of talk about the almost-kissing scene."
Jungkook smirked but didn't say anything, watching as Taehyung read through the fan reactions. It was clear that people were buzzing about the seductive dance moves and how intense the video was.
"I think the fans loved it," Tae said, though his voice carried a hint of uncertainty. He glanced at Jungkook. "But it was just acting, you know that, right?"
Jungkook's expression softened, and he gave a small nod. "I know. You did great. I can see why people are talking about it." He paused for a moment before adding with a playful grin, "But next time, maybe let me be the one in those almost-kissing scenes."
Tae chuckled, leaning his head back. "Deal."
Taehyung scrolled through more comments, pausing at one that caught his eye. "People are asking if we really kissed back there," he said, glancing over at Jungkook with a curious smile.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, leaning in slightly to look at the comment. "Let them wonder," he replied with a mischievous grin. "Keeps things interesting, don't you think?"
Tae laughed softly, shaking his head. "Yeah, but it's funny how obsessed they are with it. It was all just acting."
Jungkook smirked, his gaze shifting to Taehyung. "But they don't know that, and honestly..." he leaned closer, his voice lowering, "I don't think they'd care if it was real."
Taehyung's eyes widened slightly before he laughed again, playfully nudging Jungkook. "You're probably right. Guess we'll just leave them guessing, then."
Jungkook chuckled, watching as Taehyung continued to scroll, the playful atmosphere between them lightening the mood.
"Huh... Jennie is from the most successful K-pop girl group—Blackpink," Taehyung remarked, staring at his screen.
Jungkook leaned over, glancing at the phone. "Yeah, she's got quite the reputation," he commented nonchalantly, though there was a subtle tension in his voice. "Does that bother you?"
Tae shook his head, a small smile forming. "Not really. It's just interesting. We're both from these big, popular worlds now, and somehow, everything is getting... interconnected."
Jungkook smirked, watching him closely. "Yeah, interconnected... But don't get too 'connected' with her, okay?"
Tae raised an eyebrow at Jungkook's teasing tone. "Jealous, are we?" he asked, smirking as he playfully leaned closer to Jungkook.
Jungkook shrugged, his expression softening into a smirk. "Just making sure you know where you stand, Mr. Kim."
Jungkook kissed Taehyung softly before pulling back, his eyes glinting with amusement as Tae continued reading. "The group has 4 members, and they did a few world tours too, you know," Tae said, scrolling through the information on his phone.
