"What's the matter?"
Jungkook regarded Taehyung's seemingly bloodless face.
"You look like you're going to faint. Are you scared?"
His brows furrowed.
"Are you scared of heights?"
"No." He stated in a deep voice. "No. I can't do it."
He started to leave. Jungkook caught his arm to prevent him from moving.
"No. We're already here."
"I still have the chance to not do it."
"Aren't you scared that you'll miss something like this for all of your life just because of your fears? It's once in a lifetime. If you don't do it now, you won't do it ever. You'll regret it."
"I'm definite I won't."
"I never pegged you to be that. I thought you can do anything."
"What do you think of me? People are allowed to have fears."
"But you promised that you'll do everything I want you to do."
"Are you trying to kill me?"
"It won't kill you."
"It will. My chest will burst because of fear."
"Then scream it out. It helps. Just scream it all out."
"Are you always this fearless?"
Jungkook shrugged his shoulders. "No. But it won't stop me from doing things that I want to try." He placed a firm hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "You'll be fine. Even if you're scared of the height, it won't harm you. You're safe. You can do it. You'll feel happy after doing it. You'll be happy that you did it. Trust me. "
Taehyung did and Jungkook was right. Despite repeatedly almost backing out when they've reached the drop point and while waiting, he felt a kind of high after doing it. Even during, when he realized that the fear had already subsided after a few seconds of freefalling. He felt the cool wind on his face and took in the wonderful view. He won't ever get to see it and he will never feel the way he felt if he didn't do it. He felt happy that he did. He felt grateful that Jungkook tirelessly convinced him to.
It must be the adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin because after that, Jungkook was able to drag Taehyung easily to everything he wanted to do. They went swimming, diving, parasailing, flyboarding and jet skiing. They spent time together, laughing and having fun, never realizing that they could actually do without arguing and fighting.
That day, Taehyung felt like a child that he hasn't felt in forever and Jungkook found a playmate that he hasn't had for a long time.
"Your face is so funny."
Jungkook cackled, his head throwing back, as they watched the video clip of Taehyung's time in the sky. Taehyung had a broad boxy smile, his ears tickled with the younger's chuckles despite his screams being louder.
"I'm going to make an edit of this." He said with a wide grin.
Taehyung dazedly stared at his face. His eyes were mere crescent slits. Its corners were crinkled. His nose was scrunched. His lips frame his white teeth with the pair in front standing out, making him look like a cute rabbit.
"Honey Bunny." He quietly uttered.
"Huh?" Jungkook asked without looking at him.
"I'm going to call you Honey Bunny."
"What?" He finally looked at him.
"We ought to call each other cute names. That's what couples do."
