"Director, do you want me to set an appointment with the counsellor? You know, to help you process what happened yesterday."

Taehyung was pulled from a trance-like state by his secretary's voice.

"Huh?" He looked at him questioningly with soulless eyes.

"You've been blankly staring all day. Was yesterday too traumatic for you?"

"No. I'm just thinking."

"Is there something I can help you with?"

"No." He tried to look all over his table. "Where's the contract?"

"It's here, sir."

Minjae flipped a folder closed. What he's looking for was exactly in front of him.

"You really need to process it."

He sighed. "Fine."

"Shall I call the hospital?"

"No. It's nothing like that."

"Then, what's it like?"

Taehyung stared at him, contemplating if it would be a good decision to tell him what's bugging him all day. Minjae looked back, expectantly.

"Fine."

"Oh."

He dashed to a single couch and sat.

"What are you doing?"

"Stay here." He momentarily rose and patted the sofa beside him. "I heard this is how it's done."

"No one does it like that."

But still, he paced to him and settled where he wanted him to. Minjae opened his tablet and acted like he was ready to take notes.

"What's going on, Mr. Kim? How are you feeling?"

Taehyung squinted his eyes before starting. "My brain's in haywire."

He thoughtfully nodded.

"I just...I can't think of anything else except for what I've realized yesterday."

"What is it, Mr. Kim? What did you realize?"

"I love him."

Minjae's eyes narrowed.

He let out a huff. "I've fallen in love with him."

"Are you perhaps referring to your husband Jeon Jungkook?"

"Who else?!"

"Director! You only realized it now?"

"What?"

"Well, I knew you were for a while now."

"What?"

"I even thought you're already in a real romantic relationship with each other."

"Nonsense."

"Seriously? Then, why are you so lovey-dovey? Jungkook's here with you every time he's free. Without fail. You're so happy together that you look comparatively glum when he's not around. And that's your default face! That's how you originally looked before you met him. But now, it's both scary and depressing. Also, you should know that I know exactly when a message or a call is from him because your face lights up like you could stand in place of the sun. You're also too excited to go home as well. Haven't you noticed? You haven't done overtime in a while. Really? You haven't noticed the changes? What were you thinking? You're all that just because you're good friends?"

"Hey! Are you saying that I'm naive?"

"Yes. Incredibly so."

"You rascal!"
