“Oh my goodness.”

Grandma Kim stumbled in inspite her weak knees.

“Taehyungie! Jungkookie! What’s going on? Are you okay?”

“Grandma?”

Taehyung came into her view. His clothes were splattered with red splotches. Even his face. His hair was disheveled as well. She strode closer to him and saw the state of the room. Aside from the carpet, the red fluid has also stained the seats and the bed inside the room.

Jungkook looked the same as Taehyung. Behind him, there was an overturned table. The floor surrounding it was trashed with a camera, a circular light, tripods, a pan, a pair of chopsticks, a spoon, sliced pork intestines, scallions, onions, garlic, lettuce and others that she can’t recognize anymore.

“Are you fighting?”

“Jungkook, tackled me.”

“He threw sauce all over me.”

“Because you pulled my hair!”

“Well, you knocked my camera off!”

“You tried to burn me!”

“I told you I didn’t! It was an accident!”

“You two stop shouting!”

Both of them stopped and squeezed their lips.

“What’s the reason why you ended up like this? What made you fight like this?”

They avoided her eyes.

“Follow me to the living room. Let’s talk.”

They admitted everything to her in the end.

“So, you were never in love? And instead, you’ve been fighting?”

They hung their heads low, unable to say anything.

“Hyungjoon.” She called her son, Taehyung’s father. “You know about all this?”

“I didn’t know that they’ve been fighting. But we do know that there isn’t love between them yet.”

“You lied to our people. You could’ve let it be. At least there are no expectations from the two of you. But instead, you fed them lies.”

“I thought it’s for the good.” Taehyung humbly explained.

“You can’t even get along.” She clicked her tongue. “Be honest with me. Were you also like this during your honeymoon?”

Jungkook looked up, thinking. Taehyung skewed his head.

“No.” The older replied after a few seconds of contemplation.

“Then why?”

“Maybe, just like during their honeymoon, they need time to be together alone.” Taehyung’s mother suggested. “It’s just the two of them there so they have no choice but to depend on each other. Maybe that’s what they need again.”

The elderly woman nodded. “Then pack their bags and drive them to the Lover’s Nest.”

Jungkook’s jaw dropped.

“You two will stay there. On your own. Without any help. Learn to live harmoniously together. Maintain a home through each other’s help. You’re allowed to have Mr. Lee to drive you back and forth to your office and to your school. But no more than that. From now on, you’re banished. You can’t step foot in this house until you can get along well. And don’t you dare lie.” She pointed her finger at them. “I will fervently pray to the gods to grant you the worst karma if you do.”
