Amaira's POV
Waking up too early to get ready is something someone can least expect from me, but today I woke at 5:00am, or we could say I couldn't sleep the whole night. The night I spent thinking about Reyansh, our first meet, the staycation, the friendly meet, the birthday, the cry session, and finally the confession.
I couldn't help but feel whole zoo in my stomach whenever I think about the confession. I never expected it to be this way, both of us crying and confessing; it seems like kdrama, right? I think so too.
I now have my dream boy, my man, my love, Reyansh.
Finally, the day I always dreamed about came true—our first date—it's happening today. He is taking me on an official first date; he hasn't yet told me about places we are going to visit; he kept it as a secret and said he has everything planned for today. I just have to get ready and meet him near my house at 11:00am.
With the continuous thoughts of Reyansh running in my mind and the wide smile that never left my lips, I descended down from my room to the main room and saw my mom in the kitchen. I went towards her and backhugged her, squeezing her little in my hug, feeling the lovely warmth she radiates.
"So happy today, what's the matter??? anything special?" Mom asked, and I just flashed a wide smile, showing my teeth.
"Nothing, just a good start to a day. Seeing my mom in the kitchen making my favorite breakfast, what will I need more?" I said dramatically and was about to exit the kitchen when she said, "It seems like your long-wished dream has come true."I stopped in my tracks and turned backwards, confusion visible on my face. "Umm, what do you want to say ???" I said, biting my lips, controlling my smile. "By anyhow you confessed to Reyansh or he confessed to you?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows. I just smiled and went towards her.
Sitting on the kitchen counter, I told her everything about yesterday, and she was hearing calmly. I finished my story and looked at her to notice tears in her eyes. She came towards me and cupped my cheeks. "I am happy for you," she said, giving a peck on the forehead.
"I know Reyansh is a nice guy. I have always heard many things about him from you and Aayan, and I always ended up hearing only positive things. I know he will keep you happy; his eyes hold pure adoration for you, even as your photos can depict it. I am happy for you genuinely. But remember relationships are not always easy. This is just a start. It might seem happy in the beginning, but with time difficulties will also come in your path, and my dear, always try to solve these difficulties together. Trust is very important in relationships, so make sure you trust him and he does too. Focus on balancing relationships and careers. Give both equal attention." Mom advised, giving me a new hope and lesson to move forward in this relationship.
We both hugged each other. Coming out of the hug, I asked, "What about Papa? Will he agree ??" She patted my head. "Don't worry about him, Baccha; he always wishes for your happiness. He might not suddenly but will gradually accept Reyansh," she said. Giving her a smile I went out of the kitchen towards my room to get ready for the date.
To get dressed in my favorite outfit, spraying my favorite perfume to meet my favorite human is all I have dreamed of always.
Getting ready I left the house a little early than time to buy flowers. Flowers for boyfriend? Yes absolutely. It's not always about girls receiving flowers. Sometimes giving flowers to our loved ones, then they might be men or women, is a form of love, and I would love to give Reyansh flowers. I went out and bought a bouquet of roses.
I noticed Reyansh's car taking a turn to park it near the house. I went towards the car with a wide smile playing on my lips. As soon as he came out of the car, I engulfed him in a hug, and he reciprocated immediately, hugging me tighter, his face in the crook of my neck, and I could feel his warm breaths.
