Author's POV:
Days passed, weeks passed, and even months passed. The bond between Amaira and Reyansh became stronger. Their day always started with texting good morning and ended with good night.
The growing conversations helped them to know more about each other; they became more free towards each other; their bond that they thought was up to the trip only has now grown into a beautiful bond.
In these 8 months they became close friends; they shared many things: their success, their failures, their happiness, and their sorrows. After that day, every day was equally happy for both of them because they were becoming each other's saviours without even knowing it; they were becoming close friends, and even more, they were sharing all the problems and life secrets with each other; basically, they were now comfortable with each other.
Even though they used to be busy at work all day long, they never failed to update each other daily with new updates. In these eight months, they were texting each other now and then, but they never met each other in person.
Amaira's POV:
It's been 8 months since the day he replied to my story and our conversation stared. Firstly I thought he might not text me again after that day, but I was wrong. He did text me; there were times when I forgot to text him, but he always texted me first. I am so happy; now we have become more close. I know almost everything about him.
My feelings for him grew more; I realised he is just like the green flag men's I always describe. I always think the girl to whom he will give his heart will be the luckiest. I don't know if it's just attraction or love, but it's true that I am really attached to him now. But in these eight months we never actually met, and I really wanted to meet him. His birthday is in a few days. I don't know if we will meet on his birthday or not, but I have already decided the gifts for him.
Author's POV:
Amaira was busy talking to herself, thinking about how these 8 months flew by. She was thinking how sad she was on the last day of their staycation if she will ever talk to him or not, but now they have become more close. As usual, after all her work, she opened her phone to check messages. She opened his message, and their conversation started.
"Done with work?"
She read his message while taking a seat on the bed and opening her hair to make its braid."Um yeah, and you?" She replied, splitting her hairs and braiding them properly. She sat comfortably and covered her halfself with a duvet.
"Yeah, yeah,"
she read his reply and started typing.
"Did Aayan tell you that he is planning to take Manvi on a proper date? You know he is planning so much, I am sure he must have told you,"
she typed excitedly, sending the message,"Yes, he told me. After our trip, they didn't get a chance to go on a proper date, so he is planning."
He replied, smiling to himself, imagining how she must be excited about the topic."Yeah, how time flies. It's been almost eight plus months of the trip, but it all feels like yesterday,"
she texted, glancing at the home screen wallpaper of her phone, which was their group photo from the trip."Yes, do you remember the guy on the phone call you were staring at when you met Aayan and Manvi before semester?" He asked, trying to tease her.
How did he know I was seeing him? Ah, I am so embarrassed now. Amaira squealed, covering her face with her hands, thinking about the day she first saw Reyansh.
"Shut up! Who said I was staring, and what guy I don't know any"
she said, blushing immensely."oh really"
he replied smirking thinking about the day when he caught her staring at him from afar."YES, and change the topic now, or bye, I am going to sleep"
"Areh, wait. Umm, I wanted to ask something."
He replied changing the topic. His reply gave her butterflies; there were many possibilities of questions running through her mind while she texted,
"YES.""Um, are you free tomorrow?"
"yes why?"
After all, it was Sunday, and after a hectic week, finally it was the rest day."I want to ask can we meet? like if you want to"
His reply made her eyes go wide. Meeting him after eight months, even though they were close friends, but the nervousness that surrounds her whenever he is around and the giddy happy feelings she gets always make her feel more than alive.
"You mean Just Us?"
She asked, confirming if he was talking about meeting personally or in groups."Yes,Only if you are comfortable."
He replied, his heart filled with excitement but keeping in mind about her comfort."Um, okay, let's meet. Time and location you decide and text me, ok?"
She replied as she threw her phone in excitement and jumped around her room. Her comforter was now lying on the floor, and she was swaying in happiness. She climbed back to her bed and took her phone as she starts reading his reply."Okay, done. I'll let you know within sometime. I'll search for a good place, and about time, maybe we can meet for brunch."
"Yes, fine, let's meet. I'll sleep now; text me about the location. Good night!"
She texted quickly, as she was way too happy."Yes, good night..Let's meet tomorrow."
It was his reply, and she liked it before keeping the phone on standby.Amaira took out a beautiful dress, ironed it, and kept it ready. Before sleeping, she texted everything to Manvi, informing her about tomorrow. Returning to bed and keeping the phone aside, she lost herself in the memory of their first meeting. She slept early to wake up early so that she would get more time to get ready
Reyansh (text): Tomorrow at 11:00 am, I will bring my car so I'll directly come near your house. We will go for brunch at 'The Bagels Cafe' and further we will decide afterwards.
