Amaira's POV
The return journey from Ghatandevi Mandir took an hour more because we halted in between for lunch. After lunch, Aayan took the initiative to drive while Reyansh Sat in the front seat and me, along with Manvi, were at the back. It was a silent journey, with soft music playing inside the car.
The vibes of the temple gave off a different type of positive energy, which instantly charged the soul.
Coming back to the farmhouse, we all went to our respective rooms. Me and Manvi freshened up and decided to take a nap, as today we woke up earlier than usual.
After taking a nap, which turned out to be a proper 2 hours of sleep, we woke up fresh and energetic. We freshened up and went downstairs, where Aayan and Reyansh were playing video games on the large TV placed in the main room.
We sat on the side couch enjoying their funny banter. I took a quick glance at Reyansh to find him smiling wide with his eyes fixed on the game.
"WOHOOOOOO I WONNN" Aayan almost screamed his lungs, startling all of us.
As they were again engrossed in the gaming session, I arose from the couch and made my way out of the house.
I went straight to the seating arrangement in lawn that was made at the corner, which faces sunset.
As it was the start of June, the weather was windy, indicating the approach of mansoon season. I sat on one of the chairs, plugged in my earpods, and sat there listening to my favorite playlist.
Time passed by, and when I checked, it was already seven thirty. I made my way inside, and to my surprise, no one was there in the main room. I thought they were all in the actual gaming room but found no one over there, so I returned back towards our room.
There they were, Aayan and Manvi, engrossed in watching something together with earpods plugged to their ears. I went near them only to find them watching something on Aayans phone.
I waved my hand infront of them to gain their attention, and they looked up at me. "What are you both watching?" I asked, taking a seat on the bed.
"Laapata ladies," said Aayan, and I replied with an 'Oh', "without me?" I wanted to ask so badly, but I didn't.
I gave them a smile, which was not my usual one because I faked it. Them enjoying their time together is not my problem, but them watching a movie we all decided to watch together and not bothering even to ask me if I wanted to watch it or not hurts me.
It's not the first time, this movie thing has repeated over a third time now; every time we decide to watch a movie together, and then I get the news of them watching it without me.
I blinked my eyes as fast as I could to stop the tears because, at the moment, I felt left out. I asked them about Reyansh's whereabouts and got to know that he was out to get us dinner.
I nodded my head and turned to leave when Manvi called out my name and asked me if I wanted to join them, but I shaked my head in negative and went out immediately.
As I headed towards the main room, looking nowhere but down and feeling the heavy emotions take over me, which I wanted to brush off, I saw Reyansh coming inside the house.
I made my way on the couch and sat there scrolling through my phone, probably just pretending to, because right now I am not in a state of mind to have a talk with anyone. I saw him keeping the dinner in the kitchen and coming towards the couch with a glass of water in his hand.
I pretended as if he wasn't anywhere near when he sat on the couch and drank the water; I didn't even look up at him. Why am I doing this with him? He is not at fault. I didn't want to burst out my hurt and anger at him, so I kept quiet.
