"Guys, guys, wake up!" Hangeng's urgent voice pierced through the quiet darkness of the dormitory. His eyes darted around the room, searching for any signs of movement from his roommates. The digital clock on the nightstand glowed an eerie blue, displaying the time as 1:00 AM. The room was still, the only sound the rhythmic hum of the air conditioner.

Kibum and Kangin slowly sat up in their beds, rubbing sleep from their eyes. "What's going on?" Kibum mumbled groggily. Hangeng's heart raced as he pointed at the empty spaces next to theirs. "Look, they're all gone. Heechul, Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun... they're not here."

Panic began to creep into Kangin's voice as he flicked on the lights. The room looked as if it had been abandoned in a hurry. The bed sheets were rumpled, and a few stray socks littered the floor, but no sign of their friends. "Let's check their rooms," he suggested, throwing his legs over the side of the bed. The trio quickly made their way down the hallway, each door they opened revealing more emptiness.

Kibum stopped in front of Eunhyuk's room, his hand hovering over the doorknob. "I'm gonna check on him," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. He pushed the door open and stepped inside, the coldness of the room hitting him like a wave. The bed was made, which was odd because Eunhyuk never wasted time on chores. His heart sank as he saw the open window, the curtains billowing gently in the breeze.

Hangeng and Kangin exchanged worried glances and moved on to the next room. Yesung's room was similarly deserted, his guitar lying forgotten on the floor. The silence was suffocating, the absence of their friends' laughter and chatter a haunting reminder of the emptiness that surrounded them.

They reached Leeteuk's room, and Kangin took a deep breath before pushing the door open. The sight that greeted him was beyond comprehension. Leeteuk's lifeless body lay sprawled on the floor, eyes wide open in a silent scream, his pajamas drenched in a pool of crimson. The room was a scene of chaos - the bed upturned, drawers pulled out, and the closet door hanging off its hinges.

Their hearts pounding, Hangeng and Kibum rushed in to help, but it was clear that Leeteuk was gone. They couldn't find any signs of struggle or forced entry, leaving them with more questions than answers. "We need to call the police," Hangeng said, his voice shaking with fear.

With trembling hands, Kibum pulled out his phone, but there was no signal. The realization sunk in - they were trapped in a nightmare with no way out. They continued their frantic search, moving down the line to Shindong's room. The door creaked open, and Hangeng stepped inside, flipping the light switch. The sight that met them was worse than they could have imagined.

In the bathroom, a shadowy figure hovered, its silhouette eerily reminiscent of Ryeowook. Kangin's eyes widened in horror as it turned towards them, revealing a twisted smile that didn't belong to their friend. The creature's eyes glowed with an unearthly light, piercing through the darkness. It was a chilling sight that sent a shiver down their spines.

Kibum, unable to handle the fear any longer, had retreated back to his bed, hoping to find solace in the familiarity of his sheets. He pulled the covers over his head, trying to drown out the horror with the sound of his own ragged breathing. But as he lay there, he felt a cold presence close in on him. He slowly peeked out from under the covers to find a shadow monster lurking at the foot of his bed, its shape disturbingly similar to Heechul. The creature's features twisted into a grin, and Kibum's blood turned to ice as it leaned closer.

The room grew colder, the air thick with dread as the shadowy figure reached out a hand. Just as it was about to touch him, Kibum let out a blood-curdling scream, jolting himself awake. He sat up with a gasp, the morning sunlight streaming through the window, casting a warm glow across the room. The digital clock read 7:40 AM, a stark contrast to the horror of the night. The nightmare had felt so real, so palpable, that for a moment he wasn't sure if it had been just a figment of his imagination.

Kibum's throat was dry, his heart still racing. He decided to get out of bed to get a drink of water, hoping it would calm his nerves. As he swung his legs over the side of the mattress, his eyes fell on the floor where he had seen the shadow monster. There, amidst the pool of light from the window, was a crumpled note. His breath caught in his throat as he reached down to pick it up, the paper feeling eerily cold to the touch.
