ISABELLA'S NAME ECHOED THROUGH THE MICROPHONE AS MARJORIE PRACTICALLY JUMPED FOR JOY, almost loosing her extravagant head piece that was carefully balanced on her head. Almost being pushed up off her seat by her mother, Isabella slowly stood up as she dropped Otis' hand as heads snapped in the direction of the petrified girl.

Walking down the path that was formed in between the chairs, loud cheers and claps erupted around the room, making Isabella more embarrassed then she already was. She felt her face going red as her breathing became ragged and shaky.

Holding onto the railing, Isabella slowly made her way up onto the stage. As she was greeted by Marjorie in a big hug, the claps died down and the woman made her way back to the bowl to pick the male tribute. Isabella's eyes darted around the arena to catch any glimpse of Otis. She was petrified.

"And now for the boys, the male tribute is....." Marjorie stopped to create tension yet again as she picked up a piece of folded paper out the bowl. "Lucas Till!"

Every muscle in Isabella's body ceased up as a round of applause filled the arena. It was bad enough that the family was going to be kicked out the district, let alone the youngest member of the Till family being picked for something he was far too young to understand about. He was only seven. It was horrible. Lucas eventually made it up onto the stage with tears in his eyes as Marjorie enveloped him into a hug.

"Our tributes everyone! Isabella Houston and Lucas Till!" Marjorie announced as for the final time the arena cheered and celebrated.

They had little time to speak to their families before they were sent to the Capitol. Isabella couldn't decide if she was angry and upset of worried and drop dead petrified, maybe all four. Knowing that it was possibly the last time she would be seeing her mother and Otis and that's if she makes it out alive, the chance of living was low.

The door flung open and Anastasia was the first person to congratulate the two. She pulled in her thoroughly unamused daughter for a hug as Isabella kept a frown on her face.

"How wonderful! We could have an achiever in the family!" Anastasia cried as she pulled back from her child.

"Excuse me?" Isabella said in a shocked tone.

"I mean, your father was very achieving but nothing to give awards out for" Anastasia side-tracked.

Isabella loved her father but not long after Anastasia and her father got divorced, he died. He was ran over by his boss in his car. Her father's boss paid for reparations but Isabella never thought paying reparations was much of an apology for killing her father. Isabella always had never appreciated her mother constantly slagging him off every at every opportunity she had which made the girl wonder if Anastasia ever appreciated, or even loved him for that matter.

"I'm sorry but aren't you upset that you only daughter is probably walking into her own death?" Isabella snapped as she folded her arms.

"Darling don't make a scene" Anastasia hushed her as she looked around the room in embarrassment.
