A slight frown flickered across my face as Clay went up there by himself.

I had thought we were supposed to lead the knights together.

Shrugging my shoulders I waited for my orders.

After Prince Ronan talked to the dukedoms leaders he turned to all of us.

"Lets head out knights" Prince Ronan ordered coldly.

After he and the dukedoms leaders went first, the rest of us followed them.

As I rode silently for two hours I noticed there was a female knight riding beside me.

To my surprise she kept glancing at me curiously.

Turning my head, my emerald green eyes met her blue.

She jerked back startled that I had caught her looking at me.

"Do you need something?" I asked stiffly. I had no idea what to say to her.

"No, I just think your really pretty" The girl with blue hair and blue eyes said bluntly.

"Um thanks!?" I said quite surprised.

"Your white hair looks sooo soft, can I touch it?" She asked eagerly.

"If you want" I said bewildered at where this conversation was going.

Reaching out she stroked my hair softly.

Her mouth turned into an "o" shape as her eyes went wide with wonder.

"Wow its even softer then I thought" she said wide eyed.

I didn't say anything all I did was give her a nod.

"Whats your name?" She asked curiously.

"You can call me Zia" I answered without looking at her.

"Nice to meet you Zia! I'm River!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

"Where are you from Zia? Who's your family?" She asked curiously.

"I'm from the Earth Duchy" I said not bothering to answer her second question.

"Ooo I'm from the Water Duchy, I'm the youngest daughter and child to the Duke and Duchess" River said grinning.

I nodded my head as she talked and talked and talked........
