"Aisa kiyu hota hain ki tum mujhe khaaney ke jagah par hi mil jaati ho?"Ruhaan asked Raaka who passed him a look and replied,"maybe because we both are foodies or your timing is always bad."
Ruhaan chuckled and asked,"waisey tum toh Bhabi ki cousin ho. Toh pura naam kya hain tumhara? Raaka what?"
"Raaka Arora."
"And what are you studying?"
"I am yet to complete my graduation."
"Obviously. You look like a school kid."
Raaka passed him a look and he asked,"waisey we can be friends right? Abb rishteydaar bhi toh hain hum."
Raaka turned towards him and replied,"dekho Ruhaan, you seem to be a good guy, but I am really not interested in befriending you or any other rich guy. I was very happy to see Meher Di getting married to Agastya Jiju, but now I can clearly see the challenges she is facing. Hence, I don't want to associate myself with any rich person. Excuse me."
She walked away while Ruhaan looked on. Avantika came and stood beside in the meantime and asked,"happy to get this kind of reaction from a common girl? Ruhaan, I am warning you, I don't want to see you around her ever again. I can very well understand that you got attracted to her, but stop it. You deserve a far better and superior girl. Understood?"
Ruhaan sighed and gave a nod before asking,"Mom, is it bad to approach someone for friendship?"
"Absolutely not."
"Then why did she behave like that?"
"Maybe because she wants to maintain a distance from you. And you should respect her wish. That's what you have been taught since childhood. Isn't it beta?"
"Yes Mom,"he said with a nod and added,"I'll not go after her again. Promise."
"Good boy. Chalo aao, dinner karte hain,"Avantika said and they went towards the other side.
"Kabir Gujral is getting dangerous with time. I have heard that he was your biggest rival when you were Hayden Rex. Is it so?"Jayveer asked Prithvi, while he and Hriday escorted the Khurranas back to their cars, heading back home from the reception party.
"Yes it is true. He fears nothing and Rajvardhan Dhanrajgir told me that KG always said that since he has nothing to lose, he is inevitable,"Prithvi said.
"Banda khudko Thanos samajh raha hain,"Hriday commented, making them chuckle.
"Who's Thanos?"Prithvi asked and he said,"you haven't read comics or watched superhero movies in your life so far, isn't it?"
"Yeah! I don't like stupid things,"Prithvi replied.
"Seriously Bhai? Marvel is emotion,"Hriday protested.
